Love them
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoy this headset. It's really comfortable on my head and fits over my glasses just fine. I game and listen to music for long periods of time and in the two months I've own them, never have they fallen off or become uncomfortable. I often walk around the house with them on as well. Wireless range is fine in my home, YMMV clearly. Battery life is great IMO. My only gripe is with the software, which isn't an issues 99% of the time. Would HIGHLY recommend these.

Great but not for me
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are great. The sound is clear and the corsair suite unlocks the features that come with the head set. For example to changing the rgb logo and the eq and the Dolby digital surround sound. This headset is great but they weren't as comfortable as I imagined also wanted to use it on my console also. It works on the ps4 but the volume is low even when the settings are set to max

Making Weird noise
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: -Nice fit and comfortable -wireless base is not bad -headset comes automatically paired -many color and pattern variables -sturdy feel/mic feels durable Cons: -headset keeps making crackling noise (w/and /wo music on) -mic needs to be adjusted quite close to your mouse to be heard well. -the light on the mic didn't seemed to work for me as intended Sound Quality is nice, but the crackling sound makes it bad. Overall I think it's a nice headset for the price however the crackling noise pretty much nullified all the pros this headset has. I contacted Corsair tech support and they said it is most likely to be interference from wireless devices....lol who doesn't have wireless phone or routers near them. yeah this doesnt make sense. I will exchange this product for a new one and update this review after carefully examining the other Corsair Void SE headset.

Great headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Despite looking unique, this has been a phenomenal headset. I work from home and use it as my primary office communication headset. Even with wearing it all day it is extremely comfortable. I have been told by numerous people that my voice quality was dramatically improved over my previous gaming headset. And I can attest to the sound quality being excellent. I had only two problems with this headset: 1. Pairing it with the usb dongle was not listed in the instruction manual, but was easily shown how to do online. 2. The USB dongle itself had an unfortunate accident and was shattered shortly after buying it. However, Corsair was fantastic in issuing a prompt replacement. As I need to replace other products, I plan on using Corsair due to their fantastic customer service, and the high quality of their products.

supercomfortable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.my old pair of Krakens tended to move back and down over time and i got some noise when moving my head, these Corsair Voids are so much better. Staying on for hours, they don't get heavy or tight. The software to control the LEDs is actually good now, it was a bit complicated when I used it first on the K70 keyboard but now its a breeze.

Pretty good headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I purchased this headset because I was upgrading all my peripherals, I really like the k70 so I got that and the m65 so I figured I'd get a corsair headset while I was at it. Turns out it was a good choice, I throughly enjoy the headset it has many pros and very few if any cons. I will say they are much more comfy than the razer krakens which is the headset I had before. The battery life is quite well I was surprised how long it actually lasts. The color sync is a nice touch if you have other corsair products. I really wanted the carbon one but couldn't end up finding it in stores so I reluctantly got the yellow jacket but grew to love them very quickly. So I'd say it was great purchase and would definitely recommend them.

Decent Headset for Gaming
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this headset because I needed to replace my broken Turtle Beaches, and this headset filled the void well enough. I game mainly on the PS4, and although it worked fine with the system, the full range of customization of the lights and the equalizer on the headset doesn't unlock until you connect it to a PC. The audio quality was good for the price but not the greatest, and on PS4 specifically, was a little low because the volume of the headset is set through the PS4's software. But on PC, this headset really shows its full potential, which is pretty good for the more budget price point of the headset. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase.

Great for home office use as well
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not a gamer, but I use a gaming headset for work in my home office for two main reasons: 1) premium audio quality and 2) the benefit of a mute light on the mic that that reminds me I'm on mute in a meeting (those that are in phone meetings often know what I'm talking about). I had been using the Logitech G930 headset for about a year, but it had always felt heaving on my ears so I started looking for something else. I came across this Corsair headset online and decided to try it out. Right off the bat, I loved the way it feels lighter on my ears than the G930. That's a big plus when having to attend long meetings. The audio quality is pretty much on par with the G930 but this headset has a couple of little extra bells and whistles that are nice: 1) There's a second LED indicator on the mic that can show either battery or sound EQ information as well as mute status 2) The brightness of the mute light on the mic can be adjusted through the software utility (although a very minor feature, still nice) Again I'm not a gamer so this review may not be as comprehensive, but I do like this product and have already recommended it to other colleagues at work.

Just follow the instruction manual unless you feel like screwing around with it for an hour

Perfect Headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm coming from a pair of wireless logitech g930's. For some reason, the new G930's didn't sound the same. They had way too much bass, no matter what adjustments I made. I tried a few headphones with the same issues. The Corsair headphones are perfect. They let you hear the game exactly the way it was intended. You can also adjust settings on the fly for whatever you are listening too, so that's a bonus. They are comfortable over the ears and are light as well. Definitely worth it for the price.

Meh headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall the quality of this headset was misleading. The sound quality of this headset isn't that great as well as the microphone quality. And the main issue is with the drivers that Corsair has provided. I have a high-end computer that runs games at the max settings and I can see the drivers affecting the FPS and gameplay of my games. I had to restart my game 4-5 times in a span of 3 hours because the drivers would cause some issue in game. But the Dolby Surround sound is till a pretty nice feature, even though it is virtual 7.1.. Also the sound quality isn't even that great. It doesn't have many of the low end sounds. So when you're playing FPS games, you won't get those nice loud booms that you would like to hear. As for the microphone, it isn't adjustable and far away from your face. So unless you're talking quite loudly, you will be barely audible by other players or friends. The light customization that quite nice feature that I enjoyed playing with. Although it is just using extra battery life, so you can turn them off at least and get a couple more hours out of a single charge.

Buy the Corsair Vengeance 2100 instead of VOID!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having a Corsair Vengeance 2100 prior to getting this headset, I would have assumed that it would be of higher quality in all the fields that make a headset a real marvel. However, I bought the Corsair VOID Yellowjacket thinking that the $50 extra dollars (compared to the Corsair Vengeance 2100) I put into it would mean better all around quality. I am SADLY disappointed. The headset itself is okay. Lighter, doesn't fit to the sides of my head like the Vengeance 2100. Also, I went into a Skype call with friends for our usual gaming sessions and they were very surprised at how much of a downgrade the quality of the microphone was. It also kept losing connection after updating the software and firmware. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED. The sound seems okay, I believe. Average, I'd feel. However, I loved the sound quality of the Vengeance MUCH MORE. It felt like a heavier duty headset. Well worth the money. I am going to return it tomorrow and exchange it. Hopefully, the two year warranty I put on the Yellowjacket can be moved over to the Vengeance 2100 because I will stick with that one for a while if it is just like how my old one was (before the brand color from blue to yellow occurred for Corsair.) I will GLADLY take the $50 back that I paid extra and get the lower cost, higher impressiveness of the Corsair Vengeance 2100. In summary: Overall, if you are using it, for basic needs. Mainly listening to music. This would work. However, if you are going to use it for recording purposes, I'd HIGHLY recommend you go for the Vengeance instead. If this headset were set at about $50 total, I think it would be right in it's price range for quality. But not for $140.... If you are going to buy this over the Vengeance. Buy a Vengeance and get yourself something extra for $50, because you will still end up in a better situation than if you were to buy these alone.

Looks good, feels good, sound could be better....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this because of the extreme low price on a promotion because I'm an Elite Plus member. I kept them for my son only because of the price I paid was one third of full retail and he thought they looked "cool". Whatever. Headphones from REAL headphone companies like Sennheiser absolutely blow these out of the water on every aspect of sound quality. Corsair does make many quality computer related items but these headphones are NOT one of them. Two star rating from me at best. One extra star added because they were super cheap and my son ended up liking them and using them because they were "cool".

A Few Months in and No Problems
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had my pair for a few months, and so far i've had no problems. The sound quality suites my needs, but there is better. When I bought this headset I was looking for a pair that was reliable, and would last a long time. Coming from Logitech G930s this pair is a godsend. My biggest complaint is how long the charging cord is, and ocassionally when I bend over with the headset on it likes to slide around but I also have a small head. Either way I recommend them they have served me very well over the past month or so that I have had them and I hope that they will continue to do so.

Worth the money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very "solid" feeling headset, Doesn't feel as though it'll snap if you set it down too hard like some headsets. The customization options with lighting are pretty cool but be warned, they cut your battery life pretty extensively. The padding on the headband as well as the ear cups is extremely comfortable and adjustable. My only issue with the headset is that the mic boom arm is pretty weak after a few uses. Again, nothing detrimental to its use but after awhile, the mic either needs to be in the down or up "sitting." Anything in between and it just falls back down. There IS a bug right now that kills the sound for some reason, its all over the forums. I've found the easiest way to restore it is to just restart my computer. Its annoying but it doesn't happen enough to make it affect my review.
