This is an excellent remaster of 3 Crash Bandicoot games. The updated visuals look good, even on the switch. This is a great game for the switch, given that you can just jump in and out of games when you have time.
Just like the old Crash games, these games can be very difficult, though these remastered ones seem to be a little bit easier than the original versions.
This is a good value for the money as you essentially get 3 games for the price of one!

So I went back to the originals (installed on my PS3) to get a reference point and do some comparisons with the updated version. Yes, while still enjoyable, and the graphics and clunky controls hold up, one can't help but wish for better handling and visuals. Well, that wish is granted with this version. Graphically, all edges have been smoothed out, the environment is more vibrant and the characters seem even more life-like and their movements more fluid, It runs at 30fps for the most part -ducked or undocked but that hardly affects the experience. The controls have been given a bit of love as well. While there are some questionable detection issues and glitches, it is not as frustrating as before and mostly fair. I found that the Switch Pro Controller works best for me, although the joycons are OK. All the content from the PS4 is there, including the additional levels. However, if you have already bought the PS4 version, XBoxOne or PC version, I would not really recommend buying this one as they are certainly superior -unless you can't wait and want to play it on the go! If you have not already bought it, or have never played it, what are you waiting for? Go get it!

When I heard about the remastered release of Crash, I almost bought a PS4. However, I bought my Nintendo Switch and just stuck with that console for the last year. I had heard word that Crash was coming to the Switch and preordered immediately. The audio and graphics look amazing in Dock Mode as well as the Portable Mode. The controls are pretty solid and on par with the PS4 version of the game. The gameplay style of Crash Bandicoot is a perfect match to take on the road or just sit out on your front steps and chill while playing. The games included are just as I remember them back when I had them for the PS1 though they really look amazing due to the effort put forth in the remaster. Playing these games really reminds me of my childhood and a great shot of nostalgia. The only thing that was odd for me is the idea of playing these games on a Nintendo console when Crash had seemed to be the de facto mascot of the Sony Playstation back in the mid to late '90s - how things change, right? Either way, the price is right and it is a worthwhile addition to your Nintendo Switch Library. Highly Recommended!

I had fun playing these games as a kid so i couldnt wait to play them again. The games look absolutely gorgeous and the fact that its portable is a huge bonus.
Plus, i bought this when it happened to be in sale for $20. 3 great games for $20? That’s a steal

Classic PS1 Crash on a Nintendo system? N. Sane!

I've been fond of the original PS1 Crash games, but never had the chance to fully play them. Fast forward to today with Crash N. Sane Trilogy, a collection of Crash's first three adventures remade from the ground up for modern gaming with various improvements and bonus features, such as a better save system, polished visual details, being able to play as Crash's sister, Coco, across all three games, and more.
Out of all versions, the Switch has to be the best overall since you can take it with you and play it anywhere.
For both classic Crash fans and platforming fans in general, I strongly recommend in picking this game up for the Switch, so you'll have hours of fun trying to break open every crate and stopping Dr. Cortex in three N.Sane adventures

This is how these three games are meant to be played. They look great, are faithful to the originals, play well, and have some good toughness (newcomers may be a bit challenged).
Going between TV and portable is awesome.

Grew up playing and loving the Crash Bandicoot series. Saw this on sale for the Switch, so wanted to introduce my niece to it, as well as play on the go and on big screen. Great price for a great remaster!

Second Time purchasing this game for the switch!! I bought this back when it was originally released for Switch and got a free copy of it for a different console so I wound up trading it in. The turned out to be a mistake since I'd rather have the ability to play remote than shiny new graphics. I wanted to replay the classic trilogy before Crash 4 was released for the Switch. These games are all amazing despite their age. If you like platformers then you need to have this in your collection as it will not disappoint.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. If you liked the original three Crash games then you're going to love this, as that's exactly what it is! Feels great to play with the Switch controllers (personally I preferred using a pro controller, but the joycons work well too) and the handheld mode feels incredibly natural. I spent hours playing through this as soon as it had finished downloading and just couldn't put it down - a great package of nostalgia and charm whilst being a constant blast to play. Didn't find either of the two new levels very exciting but I think they're aimed for slightly more hardcore gamers given the difficulties.

I have the Steam version, which is like the ideal performance you want for platformers, but the Switch version seems to hold up pretty well at a fairly consistent 30 fps. There are some areas that are darker with the lighting but I don't think it detracts from the enjoyment of the game. The best is the fact you get to play this portably or even on an OLED handheld.

3 great games with updated graphics and extra levels. They are also at a great price. The only concern I have with the game is the controls. The jumps seem a little delayed so if they could patch the controls to make them tighter that would be great. Great to see these titles come to the switch.

A beautiful makeover - Everything is redone for this trilogy, whether it's the voice acting or the graphics. The game controls just like the original, which could be seen as a negative, as in it can be very difficult. But it feels like the PlayStation classics and can be very fun

These games are fantastic, especially for all those who grew up with the PlayStation in the 90's. Even if you are not familiar with the games these games provide a great platformer experience.
Being fully transparent, these games are hard, really hard. There's a lot of trial and error and memorization required. That being said, they are a lot of fun, look great and this is the absolute best way to enjoy these classics.
I recommend the Switch version over all other versions since you can take it with you.

As a fan of Crash Bandicoot I really am glad to see this amazing remake. I can not believe how good it looks compared to when I played it when each game originally came out. The graphics have improved tremendously and the game is loads of fun. I am happy I can play on my Nintendo Switch on the go. The game play has not changed so if you are expecting more than extra levels you may be disappointed. I am enjoying this game for what it is fantastic remake that was remastered beautifully . I would recommend it to any crash bandicoot fan.
