Looks good but too difficult

With the shortage of kiddy games for the PS4, I thought it would be a great game for me and my 9 year old twins to play but it proved to be too difficult and tedious for us. If you just blow through the levels without worrying about completing objectives then you may enjoy it a little longer but even on the first level, it was pretty difficult to collect all the crates. All the precision platform jumping and scrolling trial-and-error level design made the game a chore to play. My kids already gave up playing after a couple days. I will stick with it a little longer... but will probably skip the first game entirely and see if the sequels are more enjoyable.
