I couldn't tell you how many phones I've been through this year. Too many lol. But They're were NO reviews before I bought the Alcatel Pixi Theatre and I'm VERY keen on the specs and what my needs are for a phone. So I decided to take a chance and so far I'm VERY happy. In case you're reading this and want to know a few things that the Best Buy site doesn't show are things like It has 16GB of internal memory (8.56GB (roughly) available to user after all the apps have been updated) 8MP rear facing cam w/flash, 2MP front facing cam w/flash. Front cam isn't even 2MP it's actually 1.9MP but still not bad. Deff not great but it's good enough. Picture quality? In my honest opinion a solid 7-8 out of 10. as long as you hold the phone still it takes decent pics. Oh and it has dual band Wi-Fi (2.5/5.0GHZ). Had an issue or two getting Wi-Fi to work but after fiddling around everything worked great. As for the NON removable 2, 580 mAh battery? Battery has been awesome on the new android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. No other system update was needed. Phone has a 1.9GHZ Snapdragon 210 Adreno 304@ 409MHZ processor. You'd think the phone is very slow and sluggish but I've had zero issues. phone has been awesome for me. Oh and the phone charges pretty quick in my experience. And the Pixi has Mobile hot Spot. The site says 2GB of Ram but there's actually 1.9GB of RAM but phone runs great. As for the 6" screen? Looks great for 720p. If you're like me and you don't care about the screen that much as long as it looks great then you'll enjoy it. As for YouTube? Pretty all videos I've seen are able to do 720p and look awesome and sound great. Also Call quality? I'd give that a 8-9 out of 10. VERY good quality sound. I could hear people excellent and they had no probs hearing me. Speaker sound was loud with no distortion. Phone can also take up to 128GB MicroSD card. OMG so sorry for the long review but there's NO reviews of the phone anywhere. If anyone wants to see a full review of this phone check out my YouTube channel Reaper2065. a 23 min review. Any questions feel free to ask away.

A hidden gem of a device

Well, where to start. I have been a Cricket customer for a couple years now. I was looking at their black Friday deals, and sadly the best deal was sold out very quickly. Still hoping to score a good deal on a phone, and knowing Best Buy generally has a decent selection of prepaid devices, I did some research here. The thing that caught my eye with the Alcatel Pixi Theatre is the fact it has a 6" screen along with the latest version of Android... Not to mention 16 gigs of internal storage, no more "low storage" warnings! For $79.99 it looked like a good deal. I'm glad I took the chance on this instead of a couple others in the price range. The specs and performance can not be touched by "sexier" phone companies like Samsung, Apple or Motorola. I've been using this phone for nearly a month, and its been fantastic. Quick response on WiFi (2.4 and 5 GHz capable; this is VERY important in a congested WiFi household!), Cricket's service coverage and 4G LTE is always solid. I've had plenty of storage for all my apps and even a couple games I never had room for before on older devices. If you want any sort of flaw, I'd say the plastic bezel isn't the greatest. It is prone to dings on the front, but the back is pretty scratch resistant. Cases for this model are an issue, too. I only found a couple very basic ones on eBay, and have to wait for international shipping. The camera is adequate for a budget device. The flash is bright and the editing software has plenty of options. All in all, I commend Alcatel for putting out a truly strong device with a small price tag. The days of having to spend hundreds of dollars for a solid prepaid phone are long over. Also kudos to Best Buy for carrying it. I've seen this on sale for $69.99 on this very site. It's a no brainer!

I bought this phone with only the first review on here. So I figured it sounded like it would be a great phone and a good price for it. I have had nothing but trouble with this phone. First the phone would constantly freeze and shut off on its own. Then I had to factory reset the phone for anything to work at all. So I lost all my information because it said it backed up on my Google account and didn't. Then the speaker started to mess up and making a screeching nose anytime the phone would go off. Then it just stopped working all together and it has yet to work ever again. I've had this phone for about 3 months now and wish I never got it. Yeah the screen size is nice but if you watch 1080 videos they are beyond blurry. I don't know if I just got a defective phone or what the case is but I hate it. Will definitely remember next time I ever get a phone from Best buy's to get the warranty on it.

I LOVE MY NEW PHONE, THE 6" FACE IS AWESOME. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE ABOUT IT IS THAT IT WAS HARD TO FIND A CASE FOR IT, BUT I END UP GETTING ONE FROM EBAY AND SECONDLY, THE BATTERY IS NOT A REMOVAL ONE BUT OTHER THAN THAT, IT'S A GOOD PHONE. I JUST PURCHASED MY WIFE ONE FOR CHRISTMAS.

Phone worked for about 3 weeks. Too late to return to Best Buy. Referred me to Alcatel. Good luck with that. No resolution. Getting lots of feedback and echo on calls. Guess I will use it for a paperweight. Don't waste your money on this one.
