I bought this phone for my 12 yr old granddaughter. I believe this is a good first phone for for a pre-teen.

Good phone,up to date software, buy a otterbox and you will have a phone that will last a year or more.

Best Buy called Cricket and got the phones working for us, when due to my hearing loss it proved to be difficult for me. Best Buy is an incredible business. These Cricket Samsung Sol phones work just as well as other more expensive phones. Love them.

I bought this smartphone for a good friend for emergency/casual use. Boy, was I ever surprised! It came with most of the features of my Galaxy S5, and the software version is better than mine. You definitely get what you pay for and more with this one!

I purchased 2 of these for my teenagers so they would have the chance to learn responsibility and control of use. The Cell phone is a fantastic buy for the very low price tag, and of course being Samsung, it is better then fantastic for a Smart phone.

The service itself was great. However the phones screen busted within 2 weeks of having it and ours isn't the first I've heard of this. He was sitting on a swing and bent down and the phone slid out of his pocket into the grass and it shattered the top left of the screen.

This phone is great i would buy anothet for my self..its screen is real vivid and clear

I wished I'd waited before buying this phone. 8 gb is not enough space for anything. I always have to delete something. If i want to down load something new. Its really a hassle.and i cracked the screen with a light fall. With a case on it.....beware of this phone

I was a bit reluctant to get this phone. Finally decided to since I was running late to work. Glad I did. it works beautifully and the HD screen works nicer than my husbands IPhone. Love this phone.
