Keith Brings It On Crosseyed Heart!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If a fan of Keith's vocal turns with The Stones or of any of his previous solo work, then you will dig this record. Unlike the very small dose of Keith out in front that you'd get on the typical Stones record, on Crosseyed Heart, Keith gets to stretch out and expand on all the sounds (blues, reggae, folk and of course, Chuck Berryesque rock & roll) that he's explored before. The record flows really well for one that has been pieced together over breaks from his full-time gig and it also has a fresh, lively sound for one created by such an aged rocker. Judging by this album and seeing him perform this summer on The Stones latest tour, Keith is reenergized and let's hope that enthusiasm carries over to a future Stones studio album.

Overdue new music from Keith Richards.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overdue new music from Keith Richards, not as hard rock edged as his earlier X-Pensive Winos work, but bluesy and a welcome CD of new riffs from K.R. This album will grow on you and Keith's vocals are surprisingly good after all those years of smoking. Most of the songs were co-written with Steve Jordan (one including a writing credit to Norah Jones). A word of advice... if you are not prone to reading lyrics, pick-up the booklet and read these as it will add to your appreciation of the songs Kieth selected for this project.

Keith is an excellent guitarist and songwriter.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Keith has been writing songs for over 50 years. He continues to shine on his most recent solo disc. His open tuning guitar playing is now emulated by others. He has assembled a good group of songs that represent a variety of genres. He has produced an lp that rivals his first solo outing from over two decades ago. This "Glimmer Twin" does not disappoint.

Good solo effort
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Keith was always in the background as far as a singer with the Stones, but with Mick Jagger as your lead singer tough to get a lot of notice. Keith really breaks out on his own on this one. Everything from rock to reggae to the old classic Goodnight Irene, Keith doesn't have to take a back seat to any of Mick's solo albums. Nice record!

Keith is BACK!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.FROM AMAZON "The tracks on Crosseyed Heart are arguably the best Keith has committed to record since the 1994 Rolling Stones album Voodoo Lounge. Should rumors be true and the Stones record another album in the near future, let us hope that Keith maintains the songwriting streak he is on."

It is all about perspective
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok so if you are a Keith Richards fan, you are going to love this album. If you are a Rolling Stones fan, you will like it. If you are just starting out with his music get his Main Offender album first. Some good mix on this album but it really reflects his Wino's association.

Good work from an old Master
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Keith just keeps on going. This album is a wonderful example of how to live wrong and long and still be on top of your profession. This is good work from and old Master. Many newer musicians would be well advised to listen to this.

Not a rehash of the Stones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a pleasant suprise. I was a bit hesitant to buy this thinking it might be just a remix of Stones songs with new names. It is definitely not. This is all new material and a joy to listen to.

Nice Cd from an old friend
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hard to believe it has been a long time since his last solo outing. Enjoyed the Cd. Nothing really stood out to me as a classic but consistent throughout. The bonus track from Best Buy is worthwhile.

Excellent Vision for a Crosseyed Heart
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You never know what to expect from a senior rock legend, but this was a gift of joy. All of the tunes were well done and Keith's version of Irene Goodnight channeled Dylan perfectly.

Fantastic!

Keith is the heart of the Stones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A very good album from the Stones' guitarist. Has a good balance of bluesy rockers and soulful ballads, plus Keith is a good singer in addition to being a great guitarist.
