This Crucial Pro Overclocking 32GB Kit (2x16GB) 6000 MT/s DDR5-6000 UDIMM Desktop Memory is from one of the most recognized memory manufacturers and one of the largest semiconductors makers in the world, Micron. They’ve been in business for as long as I can remember and produce quality products that last a long time. They really stand behind their products such as this professional series memory kit that comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
I already had 32 GB of memory in my Asus ROG gaming system but only running at 5600 MT/s. Once I populated the remaining 2 memory slots, it detected the additional memory but ran it at the lower speed of the stock memory. I then removed the slower memory and enabled XMP 3.0 in the BIOS and rebooted with just the new Crucial 6000 memory. It automatically set it at the higher frequency and all the right timings enabling the best performance out of my Intel core i7-14700 CPU. That translated into gaming at higher frame rates or rendering graphic designs more smoothly. This memory runs very stable at 6000 MT/s CAS Level 36 but is also downward compatible to lower speeds of 5200 or 5600 if you have an earlier, less capable motherboard that can’t handle 6000 or a stable voltage. It also supports the performance recovery and mild overclocking for Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO technology.
All in all, this a reliable, Pro Series choice, mildly overclocked at a reasonable price, especially when on-sale, so I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to a friend.

RAM has come a long way, especially since gaming as taken off as much as it has in the recently past. This 32GB (2x16GB) back is sure to impress those who are looking to build out their dream rig or need to bump up their current set up. I recently installed these into my existing rig and have noticed a jump in performance. These can easily been installed by a novice DIY'er or can be used by the experienced builder/gamer. They clicked into place with ease and gave me no "odd" wiggle after snapping in their slots.
These DDR5's are are build to be overclocked and have shown to be do so with ease thus far and even exude 6000MT with ease. Crucial states that this is their "sweet spot". But also know that it is downclock-able too for those systems that do not support DDR5.
If you are looking for DDR5 to fill up some empty slots in a new build or existing build then I would recommend Crucial Pro to get the job done. 25% lower latency means improved gameplay to those looking to gain an edge. Pairing this technology with 45+ years of experience in the industry, assures a sound product to propel you into round 2.

Solid Set of RAM Modules

This is a great set of RAM modules. The black shrouds have a nice understated look and should look good in most builds. The installation is the same as any other RAM stick, though a QR code printed on the packaging brings you to a page on Crucial’s website with information on the basic install process. I installed these into an ASUS motherboard and they were initially recognized as 5600 MHz, though enabling XMP in my BIOS settings turned that into the advertised 6000 MHz. It’s always good to verify the memory settings in your PC BIOS anyway, but remember to also enable XMP if you have Intel and EXPO if you have AMD. The performance so far has been solid and stable. 6000 MHz isn't the fastest DDR5 RAM you can buy, but it's up to the point where you'd see diminishing returns and even problems going beyond that speed on certain CPU's.
As far as DDR5 RAM goes I can’t find anything to fault with the Crucial Pro’s. They look great, they’re plenty fast, and in general they’re a good value. They also come with a ‘Limited Lifetime’ warranty, which should cover you in the event that they fail at some point in the future as long as you aren’t pushing them past their advertised speeds.

Clear cut performance memory

My system comes with overclocking by default. ASUS ROG Intel i74700F.
So I ran Sandra benchmark software for its Overall Memory Score" with per-installed (SK Hynix DDR5-5600) vs Crucial Technology 16384 MB (DDR5-5600) - XMP 3.0.
A very google apples-to-apples test.
Hynix
Rank #4,075 496.45GB/s 2.10kPT Performance Test
Crucial
Rank #3,457 526.35GB/s 2.15kPT
This was a clear increase in speed without tuning anything.
Visually Crucial comes with heat spreaders whereas the Hynix were bare DIMMs. Lower heat during overclocking for stability.
Install was simple. You only need to ensure the DIMM is in the correct orientation using its notch as a visual guide.
Once my benchmark was completed, I reinstalled the stock memory for a total of 64GB. System remained stable as expected.
Crucial has always been known as premium memory and I was pleasantly re-assured that this was still the case.
I always recommend maxing out desktop PC ram. It's a cheap upgrade and it makes a difference.

Test System Specs:
MSI Z790 Gaming Pro Wifi
Intel i9-1400KF
Crucial T500 M.2 Gen4 2TB
ASUS RTX 4090 TUF
***Crucial Pro 32GB (2PK 16GB) DDR5-6000***
The Crucial Pro 32GB (2PK 16GB) DDR5-6000 Overclock Edition installs just like any RAM. The heatsinks surrounding the DIMMS are meaty and clean. There are no frills, no RGB, just a clean matte black finish with the Crucial logo printed on one side. The aluminum heat spreader features a unique origami-based design that is both cool to the touch and aesthetically pleasing. I am proud to showcase this in my gaming rig.
My MSI Z790 picked up the proper RAM speed of 6000MHz on profile 1 via XMP 3.0 (these modules also support AMD EXPO). I have a second profile set to 5600Mhz as a fallback. Booting into Windows 11 Pro confirmed the same speed (screenshots attached).
Immediately after installation and confirming the speed, I entered into a 24 hour stress test via 3DMark. This test passed with flying colors, no errors, and a score of 99.8%.
I then ran Passmark's Performance Test software using the Memory Mark test. the Crucial Pro 32GB (2PK 16GB) DDR5-6000 Overclock Edition received a score of 3965 and was placed in the 98% percentile compared to the rest of the world's results.
I cannot honestly say that I notice any real world different in this RAM compared to the last RAM I was using in actual game play, but I can safely say it was nowhere near as fast or low-latency. Crucial states these memory modules perform 25% lower latency when comparing to Crucial's Pro DRAM plug-and-play 6000 modules, which is already an impressive task give this is out of the box.
Given how fast this RAM registers on Memory Mark without being overclocked, how stable it runs, how clean it looks and for a very good price point, no one would go wrong installing this into their systems. White it's never the absolute fastest products on the market, Crucial has always struck a balance between real life usable where it counts and extremely stable. Crucial is a brand I trust in my systems and I have no doubt the Crucial Pro 32GB (2PK 16GB) DDR5-6000 Overclock Edition will be installed in my system for a long time into the future. I appreciate the opportunity Crucial gave me to test and review this RAM and I will certainly be adding it to my recommendations list.

I've been using the Crucial Pro Overclocking 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz C36 kit for a while now, and so far, it has worked exactly as intended with zero issues. RAM performed smoothly at its rated speed of 6000MHz.
I haven’t experienced any crashes, instability, or memory-related errors, which speaks to its reliability. It supports intel xmp 3.0, which I do use.
I like the matte black design and how sleek it is, clean and minimal.
I think it's an alright-priced Memory stick, maybe a little higher on the speed would be nice, but everything else is perfectly great.

The Crucial DDR5-6000 kit delivers exactly what modern gaming builds need, speed, stability, and zero fuss. With 32GB across two sticks, it’s perfect for heavy multitasking while the 6000MHz speed ensures my Ryzen 9800X3D hits its performance sweet spot. Installation was painless, EXPO worked right out of the box, and the low-profile black design looks clean in any build. If you want reliable, high-speed DDR5 without overpaying for flashy extras, this kit nails the balance.

Quick & easy gaming PC upgrade worth investing in

If you’re looking for a quick and easy upgrade to your new(er) gaming rig that makes a considerable difference, look no further than the Crucial Pro 32 GB (16GB x 2) DDR5-6000 UDIMM Overclock Edition RAM. I recently got a new gaming PC with the new 14th generation Intel i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce 4070 Super video card and the only thing that I really wasn’t impressed with was the memory that came with the rig. You could tell that was one of the areas the manufacturer skimped on to keep the price down and, as most gamers know, not only does the amount of RAM matter but, in my opinion, even more important is the speed of said RAM. To me, that 6000MT/s speed is what stood apart from other RAM I was shopping on the market as an upgrade to my gaming PC with its next-gen multi-core CPU. Not only does the upgrade in RAM speed help boost frame rates when gaming, it also has lower latency, about 25% lower than the plug-and-play non-overclocking edition, helping multitaskers improve productivity when not gaming. One of the best parts of RAM upgrades is they are one of the simplest upgrades to perform if you are not too tech savvy and is literally a simple swap out with the new RAM and no need to install any software. Upgrading the RAM and SSD are typically the first upgrades I do on a new rig because of the simplicity and how much of a boost you’ll get in gaming and would recommend it to anyone in the market with a compatible PC.

Sweet DDR5 6000 MHZ speed memory

If your looking for some straight forward out of the box speed without messing with timings and settings just a simple click of the EXPO settings to turn on the faster settings to squeeze all you can get for performance out of you machine, Look no further than this Crucial memory. I have owned several types of memory thought my computer building career but i always find myself going back to the number one name brand in memory Crucial. I had the little bit slower speed crucial memory in my system that at stock speed you would be at 4800 MHZ DDR5 memory. Overclocked you could get the slower memory to run stable at DDR5 5600 and that's pretty darn fast. But when i saw this 32 gig set that runs stable at 6000 MHZ with EXPO or XMP enabled i had to have it. And the ease of that upgrade was as simple as a 2 minute changeout of the memory modules boot into the bios click on the EXPO setting to turn it on reboot and checked and running stable at 6000 MHZ with EXPO on. The nice thing about this memory is you can use it in either an AMD build or an Intel build because it has the EXPO and XMP settings in the memory already for both systems. So its a simple change in your bios and you will be up and running with some very fast memory. They have some very sleek heat spreaders on them, Nothing flashy if your not looking for any type of lighting. So to sum it up if your looking for DDR5 Memory for either your AMD or intel build look no further here it is.

Upgraded to the Crucial Pro Overclocking DDR5 6000MHz (32GB), and it's been a fantastic boost to my system. Super stable out of the box, and the overclocking potential is impressive. Great for gaming, content creation, and multitasking — everything runs smoother and faster. The sleek, low-profile heat spreader is a nice bonus too, especially for tighter builds. Reliable performance at a great price point. Highly recommended for anyone building or upgrading a modern rig.

Eventually you will get to the point where you dont need RGB on everything. This is perfect for my build. If swapping out single stick or different speeds, you might have to change xmp in bios to auto, install new ram, then go back into bios and select correct speed. That might save people some troubleshooting that I had to do lol.

Great RAM for the price. It’s low profile which works great for me since my Noctura fans are almost touching the RAM but there isn’t any contact. Speed is amazing as well.
