I bought this for $279.99, during the midst of the RAMMAGEDDON, where I needed DDR5 for the build I was making. The "Pro Overclocking" part of the product means that the latency is going to be better than regular, and that it will come with aggressive overclock BIOS options, associated in that order. Overall, it works great, and the 6000Mhz works great with AM5 cpus, where I'm running a 7800X3D. By works great, I mean it's AMD's official recommendation for the Ryzen 7000 series. And yes, it's not RGB, boohoo, really, I don't care, I just want it to work, and my original plan was the FLP02 case, where you can't see the insides, but after buying, I realized rgb might've been kinda cool. Anyway, the easily usable OC presets in BIOS was nice, works great with AMD 7000 series, sleek black build, and a good purchase during RAMAGGEDON.

I just enabled XMP in the BIOS (no overclocking), and it’s been stable without any issues. The low-profile design fit perfectly under my Noctua cooler—no clearance problems at all. In games like Ark: Survival Ascended, Ark: Survival Evolved, Escape from Tarkov, Rust, and Hogwarts Legacy, everything runs well at 1440p max settings. Most hold steady frame rates, though Hogwarts dipped to around 50 FPS at the lowest inside the castle—still totally playable. The real win is loading: on my old DDR4 setup, transitioning through doors or changing areas (like in Hogwarts) would pause for a second to load, but now it’s mostly instant, which makes exploring feel way more fluid. I’m not crediting it all to the RAM (system tweaks and optimization help too), but I’m sure the faster speeds contribute to quicker loads and better multitasking during sessions. That said, I wouldn’t highly recommend this unless you’ve got the budget—DDR5 is still pricey at ~$350, and DDR4 is expensive too these days. If $350 is no big deal and you’re building a high-end PC, go for it and maybe spring for the 64GB kit to future-proof; you might find a deal if you’re lucky. But if that’s your whole upgrade budget, I’d suggest maxing out your current rig first—add more RAM, upgrade the GPU, or optimize what you have for better performance without a full swap. If your setup’s already pushed to its limits and you want that speed boost, then sell the old parts and upgrade; at that point, you don’t have much choice if faster loading and responsiveness are what you’re after.
