Have not been able to use it. Cannot plug into apple laptops.

device was an excellent way of transferring data from an old laptop and making it available to my new and future laptops.

The price is Good, but the reliability poor had mine for about 2 weeks and completely stopped working and the computer wasn't able to read the crucial. Not saying all crucial external will be the same. just my experience on owning one.

I love this hard drive. 1 TB fits easily in the palm of my hand.

This external SSD is good and reliable. It was very fast in read but not so fast in write. It seems that Crucial did well in this speed in read and needs to refine the write speed to make it more marketable and competitive in comparison of other similar brands. I really like the small pocket side of it.

Finally no more "you are out of storage space" from Google photos. Everything is at once place. so much easier to sort and safely store my memories over the years.

Works well for backups but the product could be improved by building in software and hardware encryption/password protection so one does not have to use a 3rd party add-on. I selected the Pro version for its advertised speed but did not notice the backups being any faster. I attempted to register the product but the website for this function is down (I was later told that registration is not a requirement for the warranty).

Great price. I saw this item at one best buy, ut they were unfortunately sold out. I went to another best buy and was able to get it, they barely had any left. Its a great deal for a.1tb ssd!!
