Be aware of the rating! My nephew loves it but may have started too young

It's an awesome game considering it's a fps and I say that because that genre is so overdone these days that it's hard to find a game that impresses. Crysis really does impress visually, gameplay, and how in depth the optional features for gameplay are. It's pretty hard and challenging which I like. The multiplayer is really fun slot of people describe it as halo mixed wit cod and I could see where people would come to that conclusion but I actually see it very unique and also challenging. I highly recommend this game, trust you won't b dissapointed.

Well the online play is fun and amazing the graphics are excellent the feel of playing is very smooth. The campain is great good story picks up from last crysis and still pulls you in. The online is great good mix of maps tons of different things to do with the nano suit lots of different games to play. only wish there were more weapons but cant complain having a lot or fun. Its one of those games i will always play over and over Great game would recommend it to everyone.

I am reviewing Crysis 2 for the PS3. SINGLE PLAYER Single Player is a great experience - I actually died quite a few times on Normal (which I typically will start out on with games introducing new elements -- in this case, Stealth and Armor modes). I can't attest to the length of the campaign (haven't finished it yet), but I do like how the game provides you with various "tactical options." These "tactical options" remind me a bit of Brothers In Arms - strategic locations in each map that allow you to gain some sort of advantage against the bigger, stronger enemies you will face. Overall, I give the story a 3.5/5 in Fun. Graphics, Responsiveness and Difficulty all receive a 5/5 MULTIPLAYER Let's be serious, this game is getting picked up for the MP. I will tell you know that Crysis 2 could be considered a Hardcore FPS and can get frustrating at first when you are still trying to figure things out. Fortunately, the game provides an option between levels 1-10 to play with similar level players. This allows you to get used to switching between Stealth/Armor modes in the online setting and also familiarizes you with picking up dog tags to getting kill streaks (very cool, in my opinion. Others hate it). Once you hit level 10, you get kicked out to the big leagues where the rest of the beasts eat you (For reference, I average a 2.2K/D in Black Ops and went 1-4 in my first game of Crysis 2, but 17-3 in my second. Currently I run about a 1.8K/D for Crysis 2). Once you're in the big leagues, sticking to your guns (literally) and learning the hard way is how to get better (aim for the head!). I would like to say that guns are balanced, but that is not the case in my opinion. A sniper can ruin a fun game quick, but they also typically aren't picking up dog tags as quickly. Crysis 2 does NOT use dedicated servers (ie - akin to CoD series) so lag is evident every once in a while but this is minimal compared to some of the lag in Black Ops. While MP was frustrating at first, I realized how rewarding it felt to actually play well in Crysis and I that is why I give Crysis 2 MP a 5/5 FUN. Overall: Difficulty 5/5 * Challenging SP and MP provide a learning curve slightly above "pick-up-and-play" which helps provide a feeling of accomplishment once it is mastered. Responsiveness 5/5 * This game is SMOOTH and very responsive. Daddy like. Graphics 5/5 * I didn't touch upon the Graphics because everyone else and their mother has. The Graphics in Crysis 2 are awesome and sometimes I run through water just to see it splash on my screen (you should try it!). Fun 4/5 * SP brings down the fun score for generic characters, generic voice acting (everything needs to happen now! now! NOW!) and not introducing anything too fantastic story-wise. Game mechanics push this above average. MP brings the true fun out, if you can pull off getting more kills than deaths. When you can do that - you will be having a blast.

Ps3 version. Make sure you get the update, I had an issue witht the game locking up at one particular spot, once I got the update it was fine. The visual itself is worth the money, if you see the trailers, the game play is just like it. Wepons are excellent, you get mods right out of the gate. Silencers, Laser Sights, and Halographic Sights just to name a couple. Responsiveness is off the charts, you slip into stealth mode and armor mode seamlessly. My first experience with this franchise and I can't wait for the third. I don't usually preorder, but I will make an exception in this case. Only con, the map could be alot better, very compact and hard to see in the heat of battle.

This game has elements from Modern Warfare and from Halo. I am a huge fan of both and Crysis 2 has become a huge favorite. The game has a story line much like the original Halo. Aliens are trying to take over the planet. You have to fight them off, the twist for half the game the military is trying to kill you in order to get your special armored suit. The 2nd half of the game you are trying to stop an alien invasion. You have predator like stealth that you can use to sneak around and make silent kills, and you have nano armor that makes you resistant to bullets, sort of works like a personal shield. I have a hard time putting this game down, it's really challenging if you try to be all stealthy, or you are fighting the aliens. I will probably replay this game over and over something I rarely do.

Love this game, it's fun and addictive. The multiplayer feels like Halo and Call of Duty put together. The campaign mode has a great plot along with stealth and a lot of action. Multiplayer is awsome with a lot of playable modes for everybody. These game has been updated 3 times thus far which improves bugs and glitches along with the AI. This is a great game for your library collection. DLC has just been sold which includes 4 more multiplayer maps.

I enjoyed playing this game from start to finish. Great selection of guns and weapons. Usually think twice before buying first person shooter games, only because some games make me dizzy but no problem with this game. Highly recommend.

OMG... normally i don't write reviews for games but this game was an exception. All my friends enjoy this game as do I. It's like a mixture of Call of Duty, Halo, and a whole lot of epicness! The music is phenominal and just totally sets the mood. Turn invisible or invisible. Online play is but but quite challenging even for those that are very skilled but is still very fun! Whether it's kicking alien butt or just playing with your friends, this game is a must have for the xbox or ps3 console!

Incredibly good game for 10 bucks. The online is pretty cool and there are plenty of people.Love the graphics and the assassination kills.

This game is very challenging, as you work your way thru the city the graphics are very nice.

I picked this game up earlier today and am so impressed I wanted to write a quick review. So far I've made it to the 3rd, what I'm going to call, chapter. The intro is awesome and you get control of a lot of your suits powers pretty early on. This is something I really like, it seems like many games hold off key features too long for my tastes. The sound is great, the surround effects are implemented really well. The graphics are awesome. Picked this game up when Best Buy was running a killer sale and it was worth every penny, all 999 of them.

This version is the besttttt =D the end. everyone needs to get this version of it, if you have xbox and ps3 def, go with ps3

crisis 2 is an amazing game it helps me really identify what I've been missing some other games such as call of duty
