It looks good but it spews a lot of unpopped kernels. Most other people don't have this problem, so I think I may have gotten a lemon.

Works great. It pops airy popcorn. You have to buy a big bowl because it pops alot at once.

I can’t emphasize enough how big of a pile of garbage these things are. I bought one from Best Buy ($89.99!) that stopped working three months later. Contacted cuisinart for a replacement - btw this is not a Cuisinart product, I found out when I heard back from customer service, it’s Conair, as in that cheap hair dryer in the drug store and not the terrible/amazing Nick Cage movie from the 90s. The first replacement burnt popcorn the first time I used it, regardless of brand or amount. Popcorn would pop for 45 seconds and get trapped. I contacted them again for another replacement, which maybe sometimes wouldn’t burn the popcorn if you watched it pop and figured out the exact timing to scoop popcorn out of the chute. It still left 10% of kernels burnt, 50% half unpopped, 20% unpopped, and 20% of your eating experience crying nostalgic tears for Nick Cage’s Conair. There’s a reason this product is the only one in the country, in any market, that has DROPPED in price by over 50%. Popcorn lovers beware.

I thought having the Cuisinart name would make a difference. I was wrong. Spewed unpopped kernels all over the place. Performed like the $15 models you can get at Walmart. Terribly!

Second time I used it the motor stopped in at the bottom burned

Popped corn flys out of popper all over kitchen! Tried 3 different types of pop corn with same results. Many un-popped kernels.

Upon opening the unit and excitedly opening it up I got right down to business making pop....burnt kernels. It had a bad blower unit.

Like many of us, I was sucked into the microwave popcorn abyss for several years because of convenience. Not the healthies of choices, but I thought it more convenient. Because of my love of popcorn & trying my best to lead a healthy lifestyle, I received this popper as a gift. Absolutely no regrets; Absolutely more convenient and absolutely better tasting! This Popper is wonderfullly convenient, makes popcorn quickly w/out wasting much kernals at all. It's easy to use, store & a simple wipe down with a dry cloth is all it takes. The popping capacity is great for me. Fresh, easy and tastey! (I tossed my remaining bags of microwave popcorn) - if you think microwave popcorn is more convenient, give this a try. Although I don't use butter or oil, the Cuisinart Popper gives you that option. It's a must buy. Great product, price and durability. It's a name and product you can trust!
