Works great and looks good also. The four slots for toast is always nice and the toasting level controlling light vs dark has plenty of range, so you can barley toast an item or burn it if you so desire. Highly recommend this toaster.

I bought this toaster because we have the same one at work and it has always been great, but at some point Cuisinart had significantly decreased the build quality. The one at work, when I push the lever down it feels solid, well-built. My new one feels like a $10 toaster, it feels flimsy and cheap when I use it, and often needs multiple pushes to get it to stay down. They're identical on the outside, you have no idea of the difference in build quality unless you've actually used both. Cuisinart has always been my favorite small appliance brand, but I'm very disappointed with them here. I'll have to question myself on any future purchases.

This is my second Cuisinart toaster. First one lasted for over 8 years. It’s sleek presentation makes it look very classy. All the different options for toasting are useful, and you can place several different widths of bread.

We are happy with our new toaster. While we've had some issues with getting the proper settings for how we like our toast we realize it's just a matter of finding the right setting for us and nothing to do with the toaster itself.

Toast my bread and bagels just the way I like it & you have different settings for bagels and you can also defrost and reheat & doesn't take long great toaster

We bought this toaster a couple months ago and have used it sparingly -- it has nothing to do with the toaster's performance and everything to do with our family of 5 not being frequent bread eaters. However, we've found its controls and 4-slice design very convenient. We are neither picky eaters nor bagel aficionados, so we haven't the critiques of those who wish this model to be a $500, esoteric creation. We're happy with our Cuisinart and the sale price we paid for it. Just be aware that the inside and outside of any slice might pop up with ever so slightly darker/lighter shades.

THIS TOASTER REPLACED A WHITE CUISINART 4 SLICE TOASTER THAT HAD YEARS OF USE AND BEGAN TO TOAST VERY UNEVENLY. PRICE WAS AFFORDABLE AND THE PREVIOUS CUISINART HAD SERVED US WELL FOR MANY YEARS, SO WE REPLACED IT WITH A NEWER VERSION THAT IS WORKING WELL SO FAR.

Nice four slice toaster very cool kind of retro looking. And it makes great toast too.

Bought this toaster because of the nickel finish and 4 slots. The toaster performs flawlessly and I am very happy with the settings, which allow me to set to my browning preference.

This is an awesome toaster! Good quality. Love the settings and ability to choose what's being toasted and being able to toast multiple slices on different settings. It's easy to clean.
