The best thing about this coffee maker is it doesn't over heat the water ( like the less expensive brands, which causes the coffee to be bitter). I makes good smooth coffee and keeps the coffee hot for several hours. The auto start is great for having the coffee ready when you wake up.

My wife is very pleased with the Cusinart Brew Central Brewer. It has intuitative controls and goes well with our stainless-steel, themed kitchen.

I have had my coffeemaker for a month now. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and it brews coffee at the temperature that is "just right." The quality of the brewed coffee is determined by the quality of the coffee used. This coffeemaker does an excellent job of brewing an excellent pot of that quality coffee, without "overcooking" the coffee. It also holds the coffee quite well over the two-hour holding period after the brewing. As you can tell, I am quite pleased.

We have had several coffee makers over the years and there was no shortage of recommendations from friends and colleagues on what we should purchase to replace our old unit when it died. We are glad we purchased this unit since it is a snap to set-up, easy to clean and maintain each day, and most importantly - makes a great cup of coffee. The LED time display could be a little larger for folks with "mature eyes", but otherwise it seems very well built.

We had the econo version(the all-plastic one) we we really liked, but eventually the heating element died. We replaced it with this Cuisinart and I was instantly impressed with the quality, the controls have a more solid feel to them. The only gripe that I have is a slightly awkward process of pouring the water into the resevoir, it's a narrow fit. Overall, it is my favorite coffee maker. We also have the Cuisinart burr grinder, which we also like.

Just celebrated my 10th wedding anniversary on Aug 24th and my coffee maker died on Sept 11th. Connection? This machine was a wedding shower gift ! So there you go, my coffee maker served me well for ten years+. The only reason I may consider another machine is the hope to find something shorter - the machine is so tall it must be pulled out from under the cabinets in order to fill the water hopper. Honestly, I did not realize what a good machine I had all these years until I started reading reviews of other coffee makers.

I did a lot of research before I chose this product. It was a wise choice and recommend it to anyone. I wanted to get a high quality product without paying a great deal. This has been rated by a lot of reviewers and it has held up to its measurement. The coffee brews very hot and tastes great. There's a lot of additions to the maker as well. Like a smaller brew size option, adjustable hot plate temp and self cleaning. The only problem I found with it was the angle to get the water into it to brew is a bit ackward. Its not that bad though. For the price this product is unbeatable.

This is the third one of these we've had. The first lasted almost three years before dying. While it was still working it kept the coffee nice and hot. The hot plate on the second one wouldn't keep the coffee above luke warm so we returned it. This one keeps the coffee fiarly hot but not as hot as coffee should be. And yes, I'm aware that there are three heat settings and we've got it set on the highest. On the positive side, it makes a good cup of coffee.

Our second of this model. The first was replaced after receiving a Keurig brewer - back to Cuisinart. Subtle design cues and ease of use make this the coffee pot of choice for a long time.

I like coffee and it’s a ‘must have’ for me every morning; when I needed to replace my previous coffee pot I researched several models and their customer reviews and opted for this model. My basic need was for a simple coffee maker with a few select features that made a good cup of coffee. And for me, this model has proven to be a very good choice. I purchased it a month ago and have been using daily and would recommend it to others.

I bought the coffee maker for my husband. We've tried other makers, but to date this is the best. It grinds and brews. It's quite loud while grinding but not for long. Stainless steel carafe keeps coffee warm for quite some time. It has a permanent filter that can be use alone or with a paper filter. If you are using a paper filter also, be careful when disposing the grounds that permanent filter doesn't get thrown out with them. The only complaint that I have is that the carafe leaked where the plastic meets the stainless steel and Cuisinart sent me a new one, but made me pay for the shipping to send back the leaky one.

This is the second coffee pot I've bought of this model. The first one lasted 8 years! Which is unheard of for a coffee pot. We bought the same model, and I noticed that the stainless steel on the outside is plastic that looks like stainless...so it looks like they've cheapened the exterior. So far the first few weeks it works just as good as the previous one we had. Hopefully it lasts another 8 years!

This machine really is great. There is no outside view of the water well, and it's almost impossible to see it inside unless you put a flashlight to it, or have a super keen eye. But the coffee comes out so good, that the only way I would buy a different machine is if it were the same exact one with a water-well view outside.

I owned this coffeemaker previously and it functioned well for about 6 years until it died recently. I liked it so well that I looked for the same model as a replacement. The looks and features are all I need in a coffeemaker. It's a moderately priced unit, and a fair value for what it delivers. My only concern is that it is clearly not made as well or robustly as my old Cuisinart unit.

I love this coffee pot. I had a Cuisinart before but the knob was hard to turn. This one makes it easy to program and change it's settings. The only problem is that it is hard to see how much water you have poured into it, but if you fill the carafe up to where you want it then not a problem.

the plain truth about this coffee maker is this..... IT DOES MAKE THE BEST POT OF COFFEE I HAVE EVER HAD FROM A HOME COFFEE MAKER!!! Beware though, the first one I purchased did leak from the bottom at the seem. A few people complained of this in prior reviews. I just took it back and exchanged it for another and that one did not leak. Just before you set it up for the morning for the first time, be sure to test it. People who complained about the noise, small water reservior opening, and others didnot affect my use at all. The adjustable brew temperature and the actual coffee pot and lid are great!!!!! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how to snap on the lid and pour the water in! I can't believe I waited this long to purchase it but it was worth the wait!!!! This is a must have in the kitchen!!!

This is the second Cuisinart I have had in 10 years and it has now gone bad. For the price I would like it to last a lot longer. It shuts off after making the coffee and you have to turn it on again to keep the coffe hot.. The first one I had for about 4 years and it just stopped working all together. This one you have to turn it back on and sometimes it won't turn on. I loved the features on it and it made good coffee that came out nice and hot, but I don't think I want to spend another $90.00 to $100.00 for another one. I think that is very expensive for a coffee machine that lasts only 4 to 5 years. I would not mind paying the price for it if it would last 10 years or more but to only last a short time I feel it is an expensive machine. I am very disappointed with it.

I bought this coffeemaker in 2017 and it is still working flawlessly. My previous coffeemaker was the exact same model and lasted over 10 years. The quality of the brew is fantastic, far superior to other brands I've owned in the past.

This is the second version of this coffee machine we've purchased. We're big coffee lovers and brew at least one pot a day. If you're looking for a coffee machine that brews fast and great tasting coffee, buy this!
