The brewer makes excellent coffee. Brew time is very good and coffee taste is excellent.

My second cuisinart brew central brewer. The first made about 1200 pots of coffee before showing it's age. Simply well made. Simply reliable. Sort of perfect. Basic LED display clock and timer that's easy to program. Only drawback, seeing the fill lines for the water isn't as user-friendly as the old Mr. Coffee transparent well on the side with the cups lines; you have to look inside the well to see the linear "steps", but if you trust your initial measure of water from the coffee pot itself you don't need to double check it that way.

Bought this 2 months ago and so far it is working great. Makes good coffee and relatively easy to clean. I use the No 4 filters instead of the gold filter because the gold filter is a little messy to clean.

I purchased this coffee brewer to replace a 2 in 1 brewer to save counter space. I read a lot of reviews,and settled on this brewer. My friend and coworker recommended this one too. Coffee brews 8 to ten cups fairly quick. The coffee is also hot. I use it everyday. The 1 to 4 cup feature works good. The hot plate setting on low keeps coffee hot for 2 hours . I have not used the timer. This coffee maker is the best one I've owned so far. I've taken my own coffee to work in a thermos for 20 years .Time will tell about durability.
