Most the time we make a pot of java but now can make a cup of cocoa or specialty coffee if desired. Good way to go

We make our coffee and the grandkids make their individual servings of hot chocolate. Just wish it was a 14 cup instead of 12. Then it would be perfect!

my wife got this for her office, and it's great! If they need, they can brew a whole pot. But if there is only one person wanting coffee, they use the pod-side.

You have no control over the warmer, it turns off after a while and the only way to turn it on is to make another pot. I hate that. Also, the purpose of the gold filter is so that you don't HAVE to use a paper filter. I personally dont use paper but the instructions tell you to AND when you dont you do get grounds in the coffee.

I like my coffee pot I would recommend it everyone

Works perfectly , we use k-pods every day but every so often use pot too. For k- pods comes with filter to use ground coffee too.

I love that I can program it during the week and get it on demand on the weekends. The best of both worlds. Poor construction of the carafe as it always spills.

Great gatherings or single use. Works perfectly with k-cups or grind your own. Water temperature is perfect for a good cup of coffee.

Use it daily wife and father in law make the big pot for them and I use the single cup since I’m difficult n need special coffee

I have nothing against Keurig, however I wanted the option to have a K-cup or a normal pot of coffee. This pot does everything you want it to do with great results.

Great purchase. Brew options and different heat levels a great feature. Having both carafe and single serve options fantastic

The standard coffee pot brews the coffee just as we like it. We can choose bold or regular brew and we can also set the temperature as we like it.

Love this option, some family pods some ground brew, can make everyone happy!

Only down fall the clean machine light came on not even a month of having it. Other wise works great!

I bought this based off of the good reviews and reputation of Cuisinart. In fact, I was replacing a standard 12-cup Cuisinart coffee maker. But wow, maybe I got a lemon, I don't know, but I would definitely NOT recommend this thing. Might be a space saving design, but terrible functioning design. You can never empty the carafe, you can't poor it all into the unit and when rinsing or cleaning, it always gets stuck in the rim. The cover doesn't open far enough to poor full carafe of water into the unit. I have maybe 50% success rate using the pod single serve unit, it overflows and the grounds go all over! Oh, and it tastes burnt, every. single. time. What a mess. I keep trying, but alas, I want to throw this thing off a cliff! And after using 2 carafes to get to the 12-cup mark of water to make a "full" pot of coffee, the coffee grounds overflowed from the permanent filter and made yet another mess. 'bout sums it up, this thing is a mess! Wish I could return it, but too late. Maybe Cuisinart will read this, I'd gladly give it back to them because I can't even wish this unit upon my worst enemy!

I would give a 5 if the coffee maker could brew stronger brews like the keurig.
