There is a little splashback when using the single cup brewer. Would be beneficial to have a higher shelf level to avoid, i end up doing a wipe down of the coffee maker and my coynter each time I use it.

There were several notable negative aspects to this coffee center. First...the one that I was willing to accept because I knew going in...it has two separate water tanks...one for the coffee pot and another for the single brew dispenser... I was willing to work with that issue. However, the other issue wasn't acceptable to me... The tank for the single brew dispenser leaked. I originally thought it was happening when I pulled the center out from under the cabinet to to remove and fill the single serve tank or fill the coffee pot reservoir. However, after some controlled testing, I am certain the seal between the single serve tank and the center does not seal completely and water to drains onto the counter. That was an issue I considered unacceptable...so I returned it.
