It is a nice unit. I would have given it 5 stars if it had a timer knob.

if you're reheating food or cooking up small apps, this product works well and is easy to use.

I love this thing. I live alone with my infant daughter and as a dad it isn't always easy to make sure I'm eating well too. I've cooked bacon in this. Pizza rolls. Reheat fried chicken. All sorts of stuff and it is fast and easy.

I have owned this for several years and highly recommend it. For about a year I had no real oven and this worked as a great substitute for my family of three. I cooked potatoes, chicken, frozen foods, etc. and roasted vegetables, too. Besides this, I use it daily to make toast. I have no complaints.

The smoke comes out of the oven toaster when you toast bread even when low temperature is used.

If I remember correctly, got this about a year ago. It was good for a couple months, then we noticed it starting to misbehave, and things have gotten worse. Problems: - After pressing the start button (for toast, bagel, ...), it immediately turns itself back off. It is necessary to keep re-pressing this button several times to get it to stay on. - After finishing a timed operation (e.g., toast, bagel, ...), the toaster will turn itself off, *but* seconds/minutes later, it turns itself back on. - Sometimes it seems to be off, but hours or later, it turns itself on. - Sometimes it turns itself on even when the mode switch is set to "Off". For safety, we now have to make sure this is unplugged as soon as we are done using it.

We have owned this Cuisinart oven for 2 years now. The oven worked well for the first few months and then we began having problems with opening the oven door. When heating was complete, the oven door would bind and be very difficult to open. On many occasion's the door simply seized in the closed position. This last time, while pushing down on the top of the oven to hold it in place so I could pull the oven door open, I exerted so much force that the door glass shattered and I was left holding the handle. I reported the incident to the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission. I strongly advise against purchase and encourage Cuisinart to remove this product from the marketplace.

If you're going to purchase this toaster oven, I strongly suggest that you plug it in at the store and determine if you can live with the smoke alarm volume beeping you'll hear when your toast is ready. The oven itself works fine but the beeping is so intense that everyone in the house will hear it.

For what I spent on this small cam, I would have expected the picture quality to be better.
