I have weak, arthritic hands, and it's hard to operate "manual" can openers. Works great, and the blade detaches and reattaches easily, for cleaning. Takes up very little counter space, too.

Unlike some of the newer can openers, once you get a can started you can leave it unattended and it will automatically stop and will not drop the can. Works great, never slips.

This Cuisinart. Deluxe can opener takes up minimal space on my countertops and pleases my cats with the speed that I can open tuna cans and fill their bowls. We all give this 5 stars for the ease of opening and lack of mess.

Couldn't be happier. It's very simple in its design but works very well. Magnet is strong and grabs the lid every time. Cuts very quickly and easy to clean.
