Don’t work properly i try to make pancakes but wasn’t hot enough

I researched this item pretty heavily prior to purchasing... I was between this and a Hamilton Beach model. I was torn about this item as some of the reviews complained about dripping grease. Since Cuisinart is the better brand, I decided to give them a try. I was not disappointed! I primarily use it to cook veggies and chicken. My asparagus, zucchini and squash turn out PERFECT each time! Cleanup is a breeze due to the removable plates. The plates are dishwasher safe but I prefer to wash by hand. No dripping grease! I'm very pleased with this purchase.

This is by far the best small appliance that I own, and I own a lot!!! I use this four or five times a week. It is really great for making eggs and bacon (use the panini plate for extra lean bacon). Always put the eggs on the bottom part as it tends to have less of a slope to it. Clean up is amazing I used to have a George Forman grill that you could not disconnect the plates and I always wondered if it was really clean enough. With this you just pop the plates off and put them in the dishwasher.

This machine works great. It's easy to use and clean. From the busy morning to the dinner, it will help you to save time and work.

Best indoor grill,easy to use, removable plates are installed and removed easily,then go directly into the dishwasher. Everything we have grilled on it came out perfectly. We're very happy with it.

Absolutely great for panini, and am thinking it would do well on pancakes and french toast, although I haven't tried it yet, Clean up is very easy for these applications, not so easy on hamburgers because grease splatters outside the grill. I haven't tried it, but am thinking bacon might be a disaster, because of splatter. Removable grill plates a real plus. Can't comment on durability, as I haven't had it very long. We use it for panini about twice a week and really enjoy the endless variety

I purchased the grill/pannini maker as a birthday gift for my daughter, however, I also purchase one for myself. I love mine and use it daily. My daughter and her husband use theirs almost daily. It's easy to use and easy to clean. Grill burgers make pancakes or create a pannini, it does it all.

I LOVE this grill! It makes the best panini. My family now craves the grilled sandwiches I make. I have grilled veggies, fish, hamburgers and other goodies. Also love using it for pancakes. But, I will not use it for steak, too afraid. LOL VERY easy to clean. Pops right into the dishwasher.

This grill is good for a lot of different items. Works well for sandwiches, steaks, chicken, fish, vegetables, and just about anything you wish to grill. However, if you do grill marinated meats with sugar, it can be a bit difficult to clean since you need to soak it overnight and use a little extra elbow grease to clean it. What's nice about the unit is that the plates are removable. Otherwise, the grill itself is a wonderful appliance to have especially if you are unable to cook outside with a regular full size grill.

Had to return the first one, DOA out of the box. The second one was a display unit and works fine, but I bought the service plan just in case. This replaced my George Foreman when the non-stick surface started to peel. The Griddler is more versatile and works like a charm. Clean up is easier than the George Foreman b/c of the removal plates, but still requires some effort and don't know how long the non-stick surface will last.

This was a revelation for me the first time I saw it. A griddle that folds up for easy storage with separate temperature controls for each plate. The plates are removable for easy cleanup. Overall, it's been quite an improvement over our precious griddle. However, it doesn't have nearly the amount of cooking space as your typical longer griddles. For simple meals or paninis it's unsurpassed. My only concern is when we cook bacon the fat overwhelms the little 'exits' on the plates and tends to spill a bit. There's a nifty removable grease catcher built in, but sometimes the grease escapes over the slightly raised edges on the removable plates. But my wife also notes that I am not exactly the 'neatest' of cooks. Still, I'm very pleased overall and heartily recommend it for anyone looking for amore compact griddle solution.

We received the griddler as a Christmas gift! It is FANTASTIC!!!! We make almost everything on it!! It is VERY easy to clean...once cooled just remove the plates and put in the dishwasher!!!

This is a great indoor grill. Matter of fact I hardly ever use my outdoor grill any more. I love the speed that it cooks burgers, brats, pork chops and steaks. I even grill yellow fin tuna steaks on it and they turn out great. My only major beef with this unit is when your cooking something that is pretty greasy it splatters out the sides and front/back and when you lift the cover to the full upright position the grease on the top plate will drip onto the outside back of the grill and onto the counter top. This then makes the rubber feet on the bottom slippery and could be a hazard. One other thing I would like to see Cuisinart do is increase the size. I would be willing to pay more for a larger one.

I am so thrilled with this Griddle. I mainly use it to make pancakes, but I originally bought it to use as a Panini maker and that works great too. I love that the grills pop out so you can clean them easily. I gets hot fast and it browns the sandwiches beautifully. I also made great hamburgers on it!

This product is great! We grill Panini sandwiches, chicken, burgers, and fish and it cooks SO fast! The griddle option is wonderful for pancakes and grilled cheese sandwiches. The plates are easy to change and easy to clean in the dishwasher. This has been a wonderful addition to our kitchen.

This product has been an excellent addition to our kitchen. It really functions well with whatever we decide to cook on it. The instrctions for use are simple and when the temperature settings from the recipes are used for similar items it works well.

I Love, Love, Love this Grill/Griddle. It heats up fast. The griddle makes the best grilled cheese,pancakes, and sandwiches (painni). Great for cooking Steak indoors. Then it all comes apart and goes in the dishwasher. You can't ask for much more!

The Best in door grill ever. Easy cleanup with the nonstick. Can be used in several different ways, such as a griddle, open-face grill, close grill or even a pini maker just like the show. MUST HAVE INDOOR GRILL!!!

I was so impressed with my Quisinart Griddler, that I bought one for my brother and his wife. They were equally impressed! We use it all the time, and constantly finding new ways to cook with it. It's an awesome appliance, and I would recommend it to anyone! I couldn't be happier!
