So sorry to say this product is poorly designed and very overpriced. I had wanted a burr type coffee bean grinder. When I tried this one once, I changed my mind and promptly returned it. It is very messy in operation. The parts are mostly plastic. When the beans are ground at any level-coarse to fine-, the coffee is forced through a very small opening into the the square plastic receptacle. The resulting ground coffee adheres to all sides of the plastic receptacle making it impossible to determine how much coffee is accumulating in it. When the machine stopped, I took it apart to clean it and saw that coffee grounds were adhearing to every part. Even if you are grinding coffee for 2-4 cups of coffee, you have one mess on your hands to clean this machine for the next grinding. In my opinion, this item needs a complete redesign using more expensive parts and less plastic. Also, I do not want to completely take apart a coffee grinder to clean before grinding the next batch of beans. But then I don't like used coffee grinds accumulating in a coffee grinder to mix with new beans I am adding.

My husband accidentally bought whole coffee beans so I bought him this grinder. He loves it. It works great and not too loud.

Needed something to grind flax seeds. The Best Buy salesman recommended this unit - and it saved us money over the unit we intended to buy

Even though, we are new to coffee grinding...we are very pleased with our purchase so far. This product is a very good quality coffee grinder and we hope to have it for years to come.

Great grinder. Burr grinders are the best. This is a great value for the money and works very good.

Coffee grinder worked fairly well until it quit. The warranty is 18 months and it quit in month 19. Generally poor quality since it only gets used for weekend coffee. Very disappointed.

I use this grinder to grind spices and lentils. This is my second one. The previous grinder I had the motor burnt out due to over heating

If you're looking for a very customizable coffee bean grinder, this works as advertised. No frills or fancy bits to worry about.

OK but rather loud and leaves residue of fine powder in grind holder
