This is the perfect grinder for someone who loves to make coffee at home. It is a burr grinder which has a large but simple variable grind control as well as a switch for setting number of cups. It stores an entire bag of coffee beans. Highly recommended

This thing has a wonky hopper/lid that integrates into the grinder. If you're not careful, it'll make odd noises and not engage (if you need really coarse grinds, that is). The cup selector really isn't necessary if you're watching what you're adding, and it's not a speedy grind by any stretch. However, it's job is to grind coffee beans, and it does that well.

We just ordered this coffee grinder for the third time! This has been over a period of over 10 years. It is probably the best unit for the price. Each unit has lasted nearly five years, which is great for a personal grinder that is used constantly. Under occasional use, probably one unit would have lasted the entire time. But we order whole beans by the 5-pound bag. We grind for family and friends also. So our units get heavy use. It has many grind levels, making it good for french press, drip, or expresso grinding. Parts are dishwasher safe which is a plus, also. Making it even a sweeter deal, Best Buy matched a cheaper price we found on Amazon.com.

Use it every day and so far no problems and it finds fine enough for our espresso machine so for under 50 bucks worth the price.

Order online, pick up in store. Best of both worlds. This grinder is not as good as the older models, and I don't redirect it to last as long as the one I had previously (same brand, same model). The motor is not as strong as the older one, and the grinder is less efficient. Still the best type of coffee grinder, though.
