I picked this CD up because Interscope decided not to include a download card with the vinyl edition (I was shocked!), Well, I'm happy I did, because the CD sounds miles better than anything iTunes or other digital sources could offer. Kevin Parker cares about fidelity & rich, full sound, so if you want to appreciate this album to its fullest, grab it in a digital format. The music itself is admittedly quite different from the prior 2 Tame Impala full-lengths - while guitars have been largely replaced by synths to carry the songs, the melodies here are still just as catchy and absorbing as always. Whether you're going for a drive or in your room with your headphones on, you'll be happy that you went for the CD instead of something inferior.

Excellent change of form from this great psychadelic rooted Australian band. They've traded in their guitar driven sound for synths. This isn't always a good thing with some bands, but Tame Impala still manage to make great and catchy songs while not compromising the integrity of their music. They bring you on a musical trip where this album could be a drug to those looking to escape into a blissful state of euphoric melody. Their wall of sound is still here and layered to find so many intracacies upon repeated listens. Wonderful band, wonderful album.

As always, Best Buy hooked me up with a good price on a CD. Tame Impala's album Currents is absolutely great. I listen to this album daily; I am completely hooked. If you listened to any of their older albums, this one is definitely different, but it still has the Tame Impala feel. Kevin Parker did some experimenting, and I dig it. There's some definite groove put into this album. Definitely a staple album in my music collection.

Tame Impala's new album, Currents, is a nice listen if you're into indie/synth genre. Their hits, Let it Happen, The Less I Know the Better, and Disciples are my faves and have music videos!! It's nice to listen to when you're chilling in your car going for a drive.

This album from Tame Impala is wonderful from start to finish. However, it is a slight departure from his earlier work in that it is definitely more synth driven, especially the first half of the album.

i have one previous tame implala release. this is their best yet. just play a sample adn u will love it if u like tyhis type music

I'm a huge Tame Impala fan and this is, to date, their best effort. They have such a unique, innovative sound that I love!

Very interesting music exploration for a pop-indie band - one of the few I will permit my sons to play in the car. ;)
