Battery backups are pretty simple. Plug them in to charge, then add your load. When the power goes out, the battery supports function until either the power is restored, the items are shut down or the battery runs out. This one was DOA right out of the box. I charged it for 48 hours, then added a Synology DS1019+ with two 10tb Wd Red drives. Well inside the specs for this unit. It appears the battery is dead. I contacted Cyberpower directly to file a ticket. That’s been well over a week ago. I’m done with it. Will be picking up an APC model today. Lesson learned.

Every time I print I beeps loudly and I did turn of the notifications but nothing works. Wish I could return it or find some help for tech support. Thankfully no power outages to know but think it was a poor choice. If I can’t find a solution may disconnect it.

Though the unit has 12 outlets, we were able to use only 6. The outlets are not designed for larger connectors

Owned it since May 15,2021. First time going into full battery back up mode it went from 90% to off. It allowed me to turn my computer off safely. I checked the status and said I had 600 mins left on it but only lasted 10 mins. Only thing plugged into it is Wi-Fi router/modem and a lamp with a Philips hue color bulb.

The last time there was power outage, this back-up system did not work as long as it should have.

This UPS is the beefiest one I've owned at 1500 VA, and does properly supply power to my devices whenever there is a power outage. However, for any outage that truly tests the endurance of this UPS I've found that it will sometimes power itself off randomly when the battery hits around 40% capacity. This is also under a light 45 watt load, so it's definitely within rated limits, too. Additionally, I've only had this UPS for just over half a year. For reference, I also own a 600 VA UPS from a different brand powering my router/modem, and it'll consistently supply power during an outage for the expected duration and THEN some. I also own a CyberPower 350 VA UPS and that will ALSO consistently provide power until it's completely drained. It's just this 1500 VA UPS giving me trouble! While it's easy to use and has some pretty decent value, it just doesn't deliver where it counts. Disappointed in CyberPower on this one -- I'd expected better QA from the brand.

Works great usually but sometimes randomly shuts off with no alarms or alerts

For some reason this is the second time I have issues with this product. The first died out within a month and this one was DoA. They seem to work fine until the power goes out and poof they don't work. There isn't a setting, troubleshoot, or tech support that fixes it. To be fair the manufacturer did offer to replace it but I replaced it with APC that's, so far, not failed me.

Good for the money but not a true sign wave ups. Might not work with newer pics in a power outage.

It works okay if plugged into a computer but as a standalone this isn't as good as the brand name APC.

Mine broke already lol. Wont power on anymore. Will have to do a warranty on it

I purchas d this product to use during power outages, but it would not keep my router connected during my power outage.

Runs a security camera system for about 45 minutes in a power outage. Works for my needs.

So far has provided good device protection. No complaints.

I am very happy with this. I have been using it for 2 weeks and have no issues at all.

This unit stopped working after a few weeks, returned for an APC unit.

It does the job, but the box stated it should last for 8 hours. It really only last for 3 hours max.

it looks really nice and like it will do a fantastic job if i can ever get it to actually print anything.

Needed for back up for whole house system in a rack.
