Great UPS

Lately it failed twice. Upon inspection i found the batteries (12v gel cells) were not charging one was 10.4 VDC the other 11.4 VDC. I plugged the unit in with batteries removed and the display showed 100% battery capacity???????? This is a severe design flaw. There should be a battery indicator like is ont the APC brand only in the front where you can see it. I would recommend this unit with reservations

I use them to protect against the occasional power fluctuation, power surges and/or spikes. The first one I have has always been reliable (up until the batteries themselves failed -- a typical occurrence after this period of time). I am replacing the old batteries in the original UPS and with this second UPS I will have twice the capacity.

Decent UPS

The UPS itself had an issue thinking it was over heating. I moved the heat sensor (internal) and it still runs just fine.

I even used this to charge my phone when power was out. More than enough oomph in this product to finish printing a 6 page document when the power went out. Liking it a lot. This also cleans up "brown" power spells.

The battery life is very good. The amount of info that one is given is impressive. My only gripe is the beep when I turn it on or off.
