Power went out a few times, on a off, and this cyberpower backup worked as intended, even has a couple of usb chargers on front, that charged phones with as well. I decided to keep it for future power outages.

The AVR definitely takes care of voltage fluxuations without switching to battery power where as my other non AVR UPS does not and instead goes to battery power. Just want I needed.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.BEFORE: Any Electricity "Blip" or power outage caused me to have to reset my all of my Routers - WiFi, TV, Phone, Cable Boxes, etc. NOW: No more resets. including no resets during the programmed 10 second delay from a whole house natural gas generator while it pauses for 10 seconds to determine a power outage before it starts.

The unit was a good value and has worked seamlessly. We have only had the unit for a few months, but it appears to be a great solution to our problem.

(It smelled like a chemical waste dump, on fire) The CyberPower had almost no odor at all. Such a great feature, not smelling like a waste dump? I'll give 5 stars for that!

So far so good though charged up and plugged in with the hope that I won't need it but the peace of mind that it is there. Pretty straight forward to plug it in and go for it/

That being said this device is great for a a TV and DVR or your router and cable modem. The only downside is that I wish you could control it over your network with a simple GUI interface but that's a feature for more high end PDUs and battery backups, I guess.
