Relatively affordable short-term battery power backup with modest protection.

This was a replacement. The original was great and I expect the same from this one.

Whenever we have an electrical storm, our power goes off for a fraction of a minute. That 2 second outage would be enough to cause our satellite TV receiver to go through a reboot that would take about 5 - 10 minutes to complete. This battery back-up system prevents that extended interruption by maintaining power to the receiver during that brief outage.

The battery backup has worked very well during the the thunder storms in Florida. The router and telephone are hooked up to the battery backup. There was a violent thunderstorm and the power went out six times within a hour usually in one minute intervals. Both my router and phone worked well with no interruptions to the computer.

My only negative is I should have paid more for an upgrade with more sockets in it. It works great, but needs more sockets.

This UPS is good for what it is, but I would spend a little more and get one with Line Interactive topology. With this when the power goes out, it loses power for a moment and then the battery kicks in. If you get one with Line Interactive topology you don't lose power for that moment when things switch over. Otherwise it works the way it is supposed to.

This unit works fine in the house where it is cool. I bought this to put up in my attic to plug in an Epson projector I bought where the plug goes up into the attic. I wanted to protect the projector from a surge. This power unit shut down repeatedly and started beeping within 5 minutes of the projector being turned on. It was about 120 degrees in the attic. Once I brought it down into the house and used it for other devices instead it worked fine. So keep it away from heat.

I have used it for over a month with no problems. The power went out and my computer stayed on until power was restored.

Great for the price does the job for the price well worth it

Has to be charged for awhile before the backup can be used but I have not had any issues with it in the five months that I have used it.

I have four of these now. Absolutely love them. It leaves me with piece of mind that if the power goes out, my electronics are protected.

Using it on a U-verse DVR to stop resets on minor power flickers or short outages. Power draw is minimal and so far this has worked well.

I use this for powering a Fios ONT. Its mounted on the wall right next to the FIOS box. Works great! Verizon wants $$ to have their own backup, which is nothing more than small batteries and only powers the phone. With this UPS, I can still use my phone, cable and Internet for about 20 minutes.

My power goes out at least once a month for less than 10 seconds. this keeps my tower and router on long enough for power to be restored.if you need longer than about 3 min. than pickup a larger unit.I have a 1100 va unit that does a tower 2 27 in monitors 2 routers and speakers,gives me 20 min of backup.

After our last TV died because of our air conditioner shorting it out every time it kicked on, we knew we needed a solution. We are renters so rewiring the apt wasn't an option. That is where this thing comes in. Now we have no problems at all. We even had a huge storm last night and there was a power surge and our TV is safe as ever!

Needed something gor the camper to plug three laptops in as plugs are limited in camper. I also wanted some sort of surge protection and this works perfect. We have an icemaker/water bubbler also ... had a power blip when we were away and it did not restart. May need to purchase another battery backup to solve that issue

Needed it in a hurry. Stopped at the store, fast in and out. Once home the set up was simple and fast. Just what I needed and wanted!

That work good, but not amazing, it's good for the price

Excellent solution to maintain continual power for your network devices (i.e. cable modem, wireless router, and gigabit switch).

I'm using this both as a battery backup/surge protector to my WiFi network and for battery power in case of a prolonged outage to the on demand hot water system. Since installing we haven't had any power outages so it's hard to give a review, but it's certainly easy to install and hopefully will do its job in the future.
