A: It comes with a battery when you first purchase it. Make sure you let it charge for 8 hours before you start using it. If the battery dies or broke, I recommend just buy a new one.

A: It depends upon how much power your security cameras draw. I would guess less than an hour for both cameras.

A: not sure for a cable modem my laptop onlylasted 10 minutes before powre was depleted and it was the only thing plugged in

A: The 40$ version I bought is designed to allow you to save your work and properly shutdown a computer. Not to allow continued use. To run a TV for any length of time you will want to buy the biggest one.
