    It's good to have this back up but it takes hours to charge up before it works so that's quite a number of hours that I can't use my computer. I'm wondering if I really need this though. It costs quite a bit and in talking to my computer friends, I'm the only one that has this. The rest have regular surge strips. When this battery goes, I'm just going to get a surge strip. Plug it in, it's good to go.

    This UPS does not last as long as an APC UPS. The difference is price makes sense now.
