    After charging and attaching my DVR to this so that the DVR would not reboot each time we had a temporary power loss. This protector went through several storms without a problem. Then after about a month we took an electrical serge and the serge protector failed and the DVR started a reboot.

    The reason I gave it 3 stars and not recommending it is because it is not big enough for what I need it for. Had to return this because it could not run my computer. Warning sound sounding and kept shutting down! Check what your equipment draws. Went bigger with same brand.

    This backup works okay, but the alarm sounds if I have my tv, network router, and my ps4 pro on at one time if all are plugged into the ports that allow for backup power usage. Thus, I had to move one item to a surge protected port so the alarm wouldn't sound.
