Perfect size

Typically, the outages are few and for less than a couple of hours. This battery backup is perfect to keep my computer and my phone running for those short outages.

Usually looked over by novices, but highly recommended by the pros. Helps avoid network issues when there is a power outage and avoid pointless calls to your ISP

Good UPS for general needs.

This one (the 450VA) is a no-frills version - no display, no AVR (which I do think is important depending on what is being protected), and no USB ports except for the one that connects back to the PC for monitoring. It's a good one to catch, especially if you can find it on sale.
