Best way to stop surge damage

It stops the electric surge which I hear can damage the electronics. And it ops things running during that minute the generator gets going. With my parent now in need of certain equipment for care, I have one just for that. Keeps my mind at ease

I'm a professional photographer with a lot of freelance in an area with severe storms regularly so I wanted a few of these around to keep my tech world moving. This one just has my modem and router hooked up to it. I have high speed internet at my apartment for speedy uploads to meet client deadlines.

Solid battery back-up

I'm using it to just handle my cable modem and wi-fi router. I've only had 1 power outage but I felt fully comfortable with it. Not knowing how long the outage was going to last, I spent a few minutes making sure I had time to shut everything down. Pretty sure I could have easily had 1/2 off of it.
