I bought this back in October of 2024 to protect my computer tower in the event we lost power again. It turned on and from what i could tell the power light was on and my computer is now protected. Well, just 2 days ago the power went out and the house went dark and so did my computer tower. The battery backup did not work at all. It turned off too. I was very surprised because best buys products usually work just fine. But not this. I am very disappointed.

Hello! Take care to ensure you are not overloading the battery and only place critical items like the tower and a single monitor in the Battery supported outlets, and move all non-critical items to the Surge Side. I would encourage you to reach out to our tech support at https://www.cyberpowersystems.com/support/submit-a-support-ticket/ or calling us at 1.877.297.6937 so we can fully diagnose the issue as well as offer product warranty if need be. Have a good day! CyberPower

Cyber Power warranty isn't worth the digital space

Bought two. They both died same time about 5 months after install. Cyber Power wants me to pay to ship them for replacement. The cost of shipping even at the cheapest would be incredibly expensive. The end result would cause the units base price to sky rocket. AVOID CYBER POWER AT ALL COST They are garbage and the warranty basically useless if you factor in paying to ship to them. Also, research shows they last less longer than their competitors I would give negative zeros if possible

If you have frequent power outages this can help protect your electronics. However, it’s lifespan is only two years or less. After that it won’t hold a charge strong enough to protect you from long outages.

Hello BestBuyer, Lead acid batteries have an average life of 3-5 years and the SE450G1 comes with a 3 year warranty from date of purchase. If you've only had the unit for 2 years, please reach out to our support team at 877-297-6937 and we'd be happy to assist. We hope to hear from you! CyberPower

    Regular UPS device

This is a regular UPS product. Battery is not replaceable without special tools. I'll have to deal with it in about 18 months when the battery is wasted. Clunky. outlets too close together to accomodate power supplies. But it works.

Good value for a backup with minimal features. One complaint is the alignment of the three prong plug receptacles. Should be rotated 90 degress to make it possible to plug in more bulky power cords

I plugged this in and let it charge up (Needs to charge 8 hours before use) then I plugged in 3 monitors and my desktop so it was not fully loaded. Then it started beeping out of no where and the beep stood for the battery being overloaded. So then on the website it said unplug everything then unplug it from the wall so it runs off the backup battery and if it kept beeping for the battery being overloaded then the battery has malfunctioned. Upon doing this it kept beeping so I promptly returned it and got a regular surge protector.
