Posted .Hi there, we do not currently have a part number for this battery as it is deemed replaceable by a field-tech. This unit currently takes one 12V/2.9Ah battery. There's no helping that with current technology. However, when the battery dies, there's no way to just replace the battery. You have to replace the chuck and replace the entire unit. Further, other than constant test, there's no way to tell that the battery is dead until it's too late.

Posted .Hello woldfej50, Lead acid batteries have an average life of 3-5 years and while the SE450G1 unit does not have a user replaceable battery, it does comes with a 3 year warranty from date of purchase. If you've only had your unit for a year or two, you should be within the warranty period. Please reach out to our support team at 877-297-6937 and we'd be happy to assist.
I have 2 they both failed after 1 year

I don't buy this brand for UPS anymore, bad idea. Theyŕe a few bucks less than other brands, but I paid in the low quality. Never again.

So did my things plugged in, though the green light on the product was on and it continued to beep like my old one to alert me I had so much time to shut down. Too late. I was already shut down.

Posted .Hello, If the green light was on and the unit was beeping, it sounds as if the equipment you wanted backed up may have been plugged into the wrong side of the unit. There are outlets marked battery and surge, and only surge.

This is unacceptable! I assume you guarantee the products you sell for a malfunction or defect

No port to communicate with computer
