    It seems to be a well made, sturdy unit. Be sure to read the description as some outlets are surge protected only not battery backup. Cannot comment on its effectiveness as we have not experienced a power outage yet.

    Worked well when power out (service on the circuit ). YmEasy to turn off the notification "beep" which can be bothersome after a while (know how to do this before you lose power)
