It seems durable and sturdy with one exception. When I initially pulled it out of the box the battery was able to move a little inside the products casing. Didn't think that was a good thing with the weight of the battery. However, it came highly recommended by someone I really trust with these type of things.

I also wanted to prevent my cable box having to reset after a power outage, until my whole house generator kicked in. I am happy to report that it works like a champ! I'm very satisfied with the results! I will recommend this product!

Power has gone off. A warning beep (continuous) sounds to alert of the power outage. This is good if I have to charge a rechargeable flashlight or my phone during a black out. Simply put: It's a large battery in a box.

If you cut the power too many times, it degrades, so I can't just go randomly pulling the plug! But, mechanically, it is a well-built unit, much easier to set up and use than the APC supplies that BestBuy also sells and that I will never buy again. I wish the unit spread its sockets out more, and had a straight rather than an angle plug, but those are details. I expect this unit to serve well.
