It seems durable and sturdy with one exception. When I initially pulled it out of the box the battery was able to move a little inside the products casing. Didn't think that was a good thing with the weight of the battery. However, it came highly recommended by someone I really trust with these type of things.

Love the plug layout

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've always used the big brand UPS, so now I have three of them (several years old) that only put out about 85 volts in back-up mode and scream the entire time despite having new batteries. This one is in the 115 volt range. My only complaint is the plug orientation. Wall warts end up blocking adjacent outlets. Some reviewers broke the power button, but if you read the instructions they say to press and hold. It's an electronic switch, not mechanical, so just a gentle press and wait a second or two.

We have erratic weather and get lots of power drops throughout the year. Since I'm working from home, have been purchasing these to put on our expensive electronics to keep things up during those short outages.

The software allows for automatic shutdowns. Reserve capacity is plenty for my Imac. This is a home installation and I don't need to keep working during an outage--just want to protect the equipment.
