Time will tell if operation is as simple as it appears to be. No power outages so far...will know more after a failure. Was glad to find this at Best Buy!

Lots of power

Excellent UPS for simple backup power protection

The UPS battery must be charged for a minimum of eight hours before use. Meanwhile, use the surge suppression only outlet for immediate use and remember to switch to the battery & surge suppression outlet later.
