Necessary for protection of computer, as frequent power outages in this remote area caused computer to crash. Often. On installation, this protected the computer at least five times so far with an alarm that allows you to hear power out and a battery backup that works, allowing closure of programs and computer shutdown safely. Best functional purchase last year.

    OK UPS, clunky software

Meh, it's a UPS. Reasonable price, adequate capacity for a small PC setup. I find the constant notifications when it reconnects to the PC when the computer wakes up to be annoying. The software needs to be less intrusive.

I recently bought a new computer and felt that a surge protector and battery back up was an absolute MUST. I purchased this and actually had a smaller power hiccup at my house due to high winds. I felt totally at ease that my new computer had an extra layer of protection.

I have always been happy with CyberPower back ups. They saved my electronics when my homes power was having issue and sending surges through the house. They saved us by locking down power when they got flooded, preventing many issues. They are heavy, especially when charged. If they die a few times, they are done. But they do their job

When we bought this, it has some weird rattle noise from the inside like there are loose screws or something. It works perfectly though, and has allowed us to not lose power on a few mission critical appliances in our office!

    Un-intrepted Power Supply, UPS

Cyber Power 650VA, is a good backup power supply. It has 8 outlets with 4 battery power outlets to protect any electronic devices. In my case an i3 computer and a 20" screen. It provides clean power against brown-outs and occasional power drops, specially in Florida summer. During power outage this UPS provide me ample time to save my work and shutdown computer. It has excellent 3 yr. Warranty. I definitely recommend cyber power 650VA. It's a great buy.

Works as advertised and simple to use. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that when the power goes and and it activates it makes a been every minute or two. It gets annoying, but at least you know it is working.

This worked perfectly for my "network closet" where there are miscellaneous, relatively low-powered devices that need backup. The fact that there are two USB ports are great also since they can keep a USB flashlight and other devices charged. I've preferred Cyberpower over APC for years based on how they handle power fluctuations. Typically my APC units have just shut down, while the Cyberpower ones handle the fluctuation by switching to battery - even for a short time.

CyberPower UPS was purchased because my 2nd APC UPS crapped out after 4 years. I expected at least 10 years of service from my UPS. My 1st APC lasted 10 years.

My old backup battery recently ‘died’ and I had no idea what to replace it with. Finding this product at Best Buy was simple. I told the salesperson what I needed, and he immediately directed me to a variety of options. This one was exactly in the price range I had in mind, so I purchased it. It was easy to install and I was quickly back in business. Good product and great customer service, two of the reasons I keep returning to Best Buy. I’ve now had it about a month and it’s working fine!
