No power outage to test. 4 stars as image on box was a different model than what we bought so when it didn't have the screen we were disappointed, but it wasn't a necessity so it is what it is.

Does The Job

When my cats walk across it, they turn it off. I have found it necessary to protect the device.

Just what we needed

As our other ones are each older enough to have required battery changes since their original purchase, it was nice to see that this new one looks "refreshed," but still familiar. Given how often the power is going out these days, we might eventually be forced to buy a PowerWall, but until then, these work great for us.
