Battery backup works as advertised but has a load cap that safe fault shutdown the system. The mega con of this product is there isn't a load indicator and no way to meter when items plugged in wiil trigger fault as they pull more power

    Failed after ten months.....

...and their warranty sucks. Bought TWO ten months ago and one failed during a storm based outage. YOU have to keep calling CyberPower as they do not return calls. YOU have to pay to ship it back and CyberPower will NOT reimburse for shipping. This is obviously how they avoid honoring their warranties! These bricks weigh 30-40 lbs so shipping will cost half of the original price. If they don't like your packing they can refuse to honor the warranty based on perhaps the shipping damaged the unit... They do not begin the replacement procedures until they have the unit and then it is a week or two before it ships...so you can be without coverage for three or more weeks. And of course they will not cover any damage to your equipment when "not plugged in"... Unless you purchased a GeekSquad warranty, Best Buy cannot help you at all due to the contractual agreement they have with CyberPower....so if you do chose to buy one of these cover yourself.... II will NEVER buying their product again.
