We use this battery backup power supply when our house power is shut down by our local provider, particularly during high wind events. It functions well an is perfect for charging your cell phones etc.

VA x .5 = Wattage so this can handle around 450 watts make sure you register your product for the 3 year warranty, you'll need it to get the battery replaced as you cannot do it yourself

No issue with the power supply so far, but I also haven't hooked it up to a computer yet to find out what that paret of the experience is like. Does help with brown outs and flickers though.

This is replacing a previous UPS by the same brand, where the battery gave up the ghost after about five years. I liked the plug layout and didn't want to have to re-jiggering my workspace set-up.

Good simple back up for pc and laptop, plenty of time to do a proper shutdown or get the generator running

my last ups died after two years . i replaced it with this i was able to plugin multiple devices, whereas the last device i had the outlets were to close to one another. so far so good

This will work great to keep my cable modem, 24 port switch and other networking accessories insulated from power interruptions that have been known to reboot the modem with a minor flicker.

This unit has been working well for almost a month now. I will post any future issues.

As our power has not gone since we purchased this item we have not yet had the opportunity to see how well it will work when the electricity is down. We have installed it to keep our modem running.
