This was a great choice to protect our most expensive possessions. Love the battery backup so when lights go out I still have time to save my work before closing down the computer.

This is a replacement of an older unit (11 hrs) that served its purpose. So far it is working great and worth the investment.

It works great. Was still able to have internet for at least 3 or so hours when i lost power.

I purchased this to protect the TV and cable box from surges. It works well. This CyberPower Battery Back-up System does not have a user-replaceable battery.

In my case, this replaced the exact same thing which probably stayed on and in service for about 10 years. I reckon there probably is a way to just replace the battery in it (but it's lead-acid, so is heavy and needs toxic waste disposal). Due to how heavy just the battery would be, I figured with shipping and the battery price, easier and about as cheap to replace the whole unit. Best buy can accept the old unit and take care of the hazmat issue for you, no charge, just bring it there and hand it over for recycling.

Works as advertised and although I have not used this through a power outage I've had a previous model by this company and it worked really well.

I feel like this is more of a power surge strip with a battery backup attached. half of the side is surge protection and the other half battery backup. It's worth noting with relative high-end computer, 3 monitors, and the peripherals, with a power outage I got around 1 hour 10 minutes when with the draw it say I should of got closer to 1 hour 40 minutes.
