Cyberpower and APC are the same thing really.

One design flaw - pets can turn your system off with a misplaced step on the power button. This did replace a 5-year-old twin whose battery no longer worked, so be aware.

It holds a charge and does what it supposed to, but it has a MAJOR FLAW. You cannot change the battery! I'm no tree hugger by any stretch of the imagination, but I absolutely abhor this type of disposable tech. There is no reason whatsoever that the battery can't be changed and you can continue using this device. With the whole world going green to point of being caught up in "green" scams, you'd think Cyberpower would at least make a small effort..but no Skip this one unless you're in a pinch. The 3 year warranty is good, but if you can get an APC or a "better" model with a replaceable battery, get that one.
