Worked for a year and then died on me

It started continually beeping, I tried multiple outlets and different houses to verify it wasn't my house electrical causing the issue. I'm not seeing many others complain about it so I must have just received a bad one. My experience rates a one star.

Bad Experience

I feel lucky that it didn't burn our house down. We only had our reclining couch plugged in, so it most definitely wasn't due to user error.

Waste of money. Never buying again.

It’s not like I’m excited to use it lol because it’s not a situation you want to be in but if I get in the situation, then I will be very excited to use it because what a brilliant idea to have. Making sure that things don’t just shut off automatically and it gives you time to do that that is a very much appreciated and creative idea.

It is a 1350 AVR for my computer, monitor, u-Verse gateway & DVR & phone base. In a power outage I shut down the computer, monitor & u-verse DVR if running and battery backup power the WiFi, phone & gateway. It has only ran out of battery power once in an electrical outage lasting over 6 hours. I'm giving this one 5 stars in hopes it does as well. Had APC and Belkan UPS's that lasted less than 2 years each. So if this one lasts anything like the 1350AVR I'll be very pleased. Will update this review if the SX950U does not last well past the 3 year warranty. It will be used to surge only protect our TV, amp and video equipment and battery back up the u-Verse TV box as it has to reboot everytime the power fails for even 1 second which is frustrating since lightning storms can cause our power to "glitch" many times in one storm.
