Works better than I expected. The set up was easy and the program you download to monitor the battery health was simple to use. What surprised me was on the first power outage, it popped up a notification to my PC exactly how long the battery would last while running everything currently plugged in and that changed as I started shutting things off. I was able to leave my Wifi router plugged in and it ran through the 45 minute blackout, so my phone was still connected throughout.

I have had CyberPower battery back-up systems in the past that I really like. So when an OLD battery back-up needed replacement (more problems than just a dead battery), I ordered another CyberPower system. As usual, it is working great! We have reliable electricity except it occasionally has a momentary power loss. When the lights go out for a second or two, no big problem but when my computer or other electronics lose power, BIG PROBLEM. CyberPower takes care of that problem.

If you just spent a slew of money on PC and peripheral hardware, the $100 you will spend on this UPS is well worth it. I live in an area where the power may brown out in during a summer storm, this UPS will protect all of your hardware. It has multiple surge protected and battery back up outlets, plus multiple surge protected only outlets. 6 of each for a total of 12 plug ins. In addition there are two additional protected USB ports. Enough power for your entire system from a single wall outlet. You will want to unpack this peripheral first as you will need to fully charge the back up battery for about 8 hours.

The CyberPower 950VA Battery Back-Up System is a dependable option for anyone needing basic power protection at home or in a small office. It keeps computers, routers, and other gear running through short outages and shields them from power surges. The setup is simple, the battery lasts a good amount of time, and it delivers steady performance when power flickers. It is not totally silent and uses a simulated sine wave, so it is better suited for standard electronics rather than sensitive high-end equipment. For most people, it does exactly what it should, providing a solid safety net at a fair price.

Great Battery Backup For the Price

The battery in my old unit finally died. The unit worked just fine, but after serving me for 7 years, I was ready for a backup battery that would not beep every time the power went out (I know when my power is out, thanks!). Since I live in an area where this happens more than usual, this was a must. Yes, this battery backup allows you to disable the beep. I didn't need to have a battery with this much capacity, but for the price, it's a fantastic price. It keeps my light gaming machine, along with 2 monitors, my router, and cable modem running for 20-25 minutes. I also really appreciate the layout of the plugs on this one. I am really surprised at the poor layout of the plugs on many of these units. It is actually the reason I chose this over a less expensive option. Many computer peripherals have those big bricks for their power plugs, and so many of these backup batteries are designed so you can't use all of them if you have a device with a "brick". Highly recommend this unit. Just make sure to keep the software up-to-date. At one point, the battery stopped communicating with the computer, causing a hard shut-off during a power outage. I contacted CyberPower Support, and they advised me that there was an upgrade to the software, which fixed the problem.

I purchased this item because of it's size and mainly the number of outlets available. We have lost house power twice and my computer never blinked. Works great and a good value for the money. I would recommend this back-up. I have another one that I use on my TV. works great there also.

Second ups from the same brand. My old one is basically identical except for the USB ports and that one is still chugging on it’s original internal battery. I got this for an additional setup I wanted to make sure had a stable clean safe hook up. I like that it came with the usb cord you will need to connect to the pc, I went out and ordered a usb c to usb b connector from a different store to connect mine and it works perfectly fine, software was a breeze to install and set up. I do live in an area with frequent lightning strikes and pretty massive thunderstorms overall. So this new ups is for the pc, and my old one is now for the audio/everything else. Works great as of day one, plus the USB ports are a real quality of life improvement from my old one!! FYI I did buy this on The daily sale, I didn’t need the largest size, but it was on sale!

I bought this to replace an old surge protector which had been malfunctioning. This is an upgrade with battery backup and numerous plug ins as well as spot to plug in cell phone cords/usb devices. Well worth the price, and the security knowing I can keep devices charged up even in a power outage.

I've got three of these now, two for here and one for at my mom's and they all work great. The first one I bougt on sale had a burn in smell, but the other two most recently don't. Good features, two USB plugs, and some spaced outlets for bulky plugs so as to not obstruct the other inputs. Free download of program to connect to unit, which allows control, how long it stays on during an outage, whether it beeps or not, all useful.

I primarily purchased this back-up to use temporarily while finishing off a new PC build and transferring data from one PC to the other. I didn't see the need for a full UPS, yet I wanted power glitch protection and a higher joule rating than another brand. I've transitioned the new PC to the higher power UPS and will move this to protect A/V equipment.

This is a good auxiliary power unit . We switch power sources every storm and that caused my fibre converter to restart taking out internet. Now it rides through the power test. The ups works great, now I don't have to restart the converter manually. I would recommend the ups to everyone needing a low power unit.

I live in an area that can experience power outages during hurricane season each year. I use this for my TV, gaming systems, and even a few lizard terrariums. Works great! Gives me a chance to save my game progress and power down everything if the power goes out.

Back-up System to stop cable DVR/Controller Reboot

I purchased this because whenever there was an electric glitch where it went out and back on right away the cable controller/DVR would reset and go through the reboot procedure which always seemed to happen when my wife was watching TV and thus part of what she was watching was missed. This resolved my problem by plugging in the TV, cable controller, and cable modem so small glitches don't affect it anymore. I have had other CyberPower UPS's and they are reliable and a good value for the money.

This is my 3rd experience with power supply with surge protectors and battery backup. My expectation is plug it in, and plug my electronics into the power supply. Pretty basic. I purchased one from Amazon and it was DOA. I am purchasing local again to avoid getting old/outdated items from online sources which are getting more difficult to return. This unit works as advertised.

I love Cyberpower UPS. Why? Because they are not overpriced, and have the features I'm looking for. Plus, their batteries are super easy to replace when needed. Though I will update my review to 6 stars when they start using LiFePO batteries instead of old-school lead acid.
