It beeps every few seconds so after about 45 minutes I shut it off so I don't know how much longer the battery would have worked.

But i was able to turn it back on. Just odd that it randomly shut down. PC software said it had 99 percent battery life. I will have to monitor it.

Power went out due to a storm and item stayed on through the night, running only my fan and a clock. Great item.
