I accidentally tripped the connection and my equipment did not turn off so I guess it works fine. If you have heavy power demanding equipment you must understand this will only provide power for a few minutes. I haven't tried to see what the max uptime is on my TV. Hopefully it will protect me against power outages and etc... This one doesn't require you to connect the battery it is just plug and play. It does say you have to charge it for 8 hours first though before using.

LOT OF OUTLETS!

SO FAR SO GOOD

Power Goes Out, I am ready.
