It is better to have a battery back up and not need it than to need it and not have it. I buy all of my electronic needs at Best Buy.

Works great except half of the outlets stopped working after 2 yrs.

This unit has more than enough outlets and is very quiet. My last battery backup had a continuous humming sound that was very annoying. Highly recommended.

I purchased the CyberPower 950VA Battery Back-Up System less than two years ago, and it’s already showing a fault. The most disappointing part is that when I went to Best Buy for service, they said they don’t support repairs for this product — and they don’t make it easy for customers to claim the manufacturer’s warranty either. Very frustrating experience.

This CyberPower battery backup system seems to be working fine. I am glad that I purchased it.

Nice compact design. Has plenty of battery back up plugs.

Has made the wires nice and tidy. 12 total plug ins and room to have the big box style plug ins and still have room for other wires.

I discovered during a power outage last week that the battery in my unit only lasts for about two minutes anymore, even under minimal load (I shut down my computer and monitor almost immediately, but it wouldn't even power my modem and router.) The unit still has 4 months left on the 3-year warranty. I expected, based on earlier reviews, to get a new battery for free. (In fact, their website won't even let me order a new battery since it's under warranty.) But instead, whoever is answering the support requests, who can't even post in proper English, keeps asking me inane questions to determine whether the entire unit is faulty, even after I clearly explained that it's obviously an expired battery. I have an IQ in the 90th percentile and a degree in electronics, I don't appreciate disrespect from third-world so-called technical support. I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and pay for a new battery, and I'll never buy from CyberPower again.

I've had this for not even 4 years. This morning I woke up to it making a high pitch noise. I had to reset it and it started to work but everything plugged into it isnt working right or losing power. I'll have to buy a new one, not cyberpower.

It worked once. When power went out, immediately was able to shut everything down properly. Once power was restored, any attempt to use my computer the same as before (games, movies etc) my computer would lose power and the ups was saying it was overloaded. I had less items on the batrery after the power was restored.

Works fine for 2 1/2 years, then without warning (no utility power loss) shuts down. I realize the battery is getting old, but the unit says the battery is good and passes self tests. A UPS should never just shut down without warning. Changed the battery and having same issue with shutting down every few days for no reason. 140W load so not overloaded. Warranty requires you ship it back at your cost. Not worth it.
