A Bad Deal All Around
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a gaming desktop when this one caught my eye; the price seemed very good for what was being offered...so, I purchased the machine, brought it home, and hooked it up. It lit up nice and pretty, but that was the only part that worked. No signal to the monitor (and I tried a second monitor and a different HDMI cable just in case), and apparently no activity from the disk drive, either. After checking all the connections with no success, and a further review of the other negative ratings on the product (most of which were exactly what I was experiencing), I just boxed the thing up and took it back to Best Buy the next day. (The silver lining was that the customer service staff got my exchange settled quickly and with minimal fuss). Do NOT buy this machine. Best Buy has reputable national brands like HP and Dell that are better deals in the long run, even if the initial price is higher.

Came Broken
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ordered this hoping I wouldn't be one of those people who got the item with a manufacturing defect, but I was. Contacted the Support team and got help and had to ship it out to get it fixed. So far I have not been able to test out the computer and in addition to that I only got standard shipping as a courtesy from the company, so I probably won't get to use the computer for another 2 weeks or so as it will take time to repair and then another 7 days to get back to me. This means I will have not had access to a computer for almost a whole month. I can't wait to get to use it however, I wish it came working.
