Very happy with this gaming computer, bought it for my 10 year old and he's been enjoying it, no lag issues, seems to process data well. Could use a better video card but for the price you can't beat it.

I decided to buy this box to replace my homebuilt workhorse that was now 6 years old. I want to mention that I haven't purchased a system in more than 20 years. I'm a tech and have been building machines since the mid 90's. My cost for parts alone would exceed the price I paid for this Cyberpowerpc. I've been running Photoshop, ACDsee and Vegas Pro 14 simultaneously with no issues. I've rendered large videos while continuing to edit in Photoshop or browse the web and stream content. I'm extremely happy with this PC. My 1 complaint is the case design. I would prefer a flat top so you can rest external drives on it without them sliding off. Also the case is massive by today's standards.

Decent starter gaming PC

It's a decent starter PC for gaming especially if you don't mind playing older games like from a few years ago and beyond. I don't mainly use it for gaming, but I do a fair amount of gaming on it. It can run less graphic intensive games at 60 fps. But heavily graphic intensive games will run at say 30 to 45 fps. And like I said that's a bit older games.
Games coming out now from what I understand would push this too much to be able to run them any good.
But overall its great because it runs everything else non-gaming fast. I'm completely satisfied with it.

I'm upgrading from an all in one pc so this is a vast improvement from what I was originally playing games on. I've been playing a lot of rpg games as well as Overwatch without any worries. The only issue I had was the fact that it does not have wireless adaption to it. For a gaming computer I automatically assumed it would have it, but I guess that's my bad for not reading carefully enough. I had to make a trip out to get an adapter for it, which kind of put a damper on the excitement of a new computer.

Received this back in Sept. Just managed to finally get it set up. Received two days quicker then was expecting. Shipped in a very secure and protected box. Set up was easy as plugging everything in to the correct ports. Has a little remote to change the lights inside to different colors and steady to pulse. Keyboard and mouse worked perfectly right out of the box. Wonderful computer system Just be aware the tower is full size so make sure you have plenty of desktop space or somewhere suitable to place the tower.

Good Intro Build for Beginners

So this is the first gaming desktop I have ever bought. I bought this with the plan to switch out the lesser parts of this computer But did test it in it's stock condition. I will update this review if possible after I've fully overhauled it. Now prepare for this glorious wall of text.....
First off lets talk about what this computer is not. This is not a top of the line computer that will play every game released in 2014-2016 on max settings. The graphics card is good but not current gen tech, same with the motherboard. The power supply isn't top of the line either. If you want to put anything of better quality into this computer the power supply WILL be a mandatory upgrade. It will run perfectly fine as is without overclocking though. There is also no support for SLI or Crossfire for this build do to the limitations with the motherboard. If you buy this computer be fully aware of these limitations, as you will be disappointed if you are expecting something more. You get what you pay for with this machine but will get more if you know what you plan to do with it.
When first unboxing the rig the case looks amazing. The black color and angled panels remind me of many NZXT cases even though it's a custom, medium ATX build from Cyberpower. The optical drive is hidden by a flap at the front and gives the case a very seamless and sleek look. It also comes with four USB 3.0 plugins and two 2.0 plugins as well. The side panels are held in by two screws on each side making for easy removal and the left side panel is clear, giving a nice view of the internal workings of the computer and the multi-color LED light that has multiple settings. Combine with the mouse and keyboard it has a very nice red and black theme going for the build.
In terms of the actual performance the whole rig does run nicely after it is properly updated for software and drivers. I played max settings on Rage and Fallout New Vegas with modded graphics at 60 FPS(you can go higher with that game without physics issues) with no stutter and the computer never getting higher than 40 degrees Celsius. Playing on a few older games it never got higher than 30. The fans in it are pretty quiet, if you have a game going and decent speakers, you won't hear them. My only concern is that the motherboard is not supposed to be compatible with the RAM that comes with the system. Gigabyte, the company that made the motherboard, says this on their website page for the system along with every review out for the board. Granted this is a professionally built computer and Cyberpower has most likely done stuff to make it all work, but that's still kinda shady.....
In terms of what you can do to upgrade this computer:
You can cram a maximum of five 120mm case fans into the case, as far as I've measured, or three 120mm fans and a liquid cooling system.(Basing off of a Corsair H100i GTX) You can also put a motherboard up to 12 inches, possibly 13 into the case, giving you 2 way sli or crossfire capability. Just about any power supply unit will fit into this case as long as you keep the width in mind. They all seem to be the same though. You can fit a 12 inch graphics card safely into the case as is, or you can remove SSD cage to fit a 14-15 inch card into the case or just to increase air flow. Me? I'm moving the SSD cage down to the bottom and getting rid of the regular HDD case, as there is a slot for normal drives in the SSD cage. You can also put in 2 more optical drives or a fan control if desired, but that is completely optional and not really necessary. The CPU is the lowest performing model of the FX-8300 family, but is still nice performance wise. I've heard very good things about it for overclocking when it's properly cooled. Otherwise a FX-8350 or FX-8370 will work just fine with the motherboard. Anything higher requires a new board.(Which I recommend anyway)
As I said, its a good computer with a lot of potential if you don't be unrealistic with what you want in a rig. If you're like me and wanted this to learn how to build a custom rig, then buy it. Provided you don't screw up on the installation and are smart when buying parts, you should have a $1800-2000 build for $400 less at most.

I use the computer for gaming and e-mail. This plays Dragon Age Inquisition with the mods on ultra and works as I had expected. Note - it is noisy. A bit more than I had expected, but I use headphones and the tv is usually turned up so it is not a larage problem. But the fan is loud.

I purchased a CyberPowerPC - Gamer Ultra Desktop - AMD FX-Series system for my 10 year old son and it has proven to be a great system. There's no lag, quick processing speed, awesome graphics, and overall very good quality! There's gaming systems out there that's similar to this system for $2,000.00 or more. Why purchase these expensive systems, when you can buy one from Best Buy under a $1,000.00 that gives you the same results? Highly recommended. Thank you Best Buy!
